1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Looks brown, poor head. Ugly. Taste pretty malty and sweet. Dark bread flavours apart of the sweetness. Finish malty and aftertaste, too. Medium body. If you like roasted malt ...

1.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
Some fruity aromas to this beer and the color is right but I got some off flavors of earthy and off ketones or esters. Maybe I got a bad batch as this had to go down the drain.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Hazy brown with a medium head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of hay. The flavor is also sweet malty with notes of caramel. The mouthfeel is fresh, but slightly watery.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a dark amber/brown with a small tan head. Caramel and malt on the nose. Smooth and light malt on the tongue. Decent but nothing to write home about.

2.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Had this as Altbayreuther in a bottle. Clear dark red-brown body with a bubbly cream colored head that dissappears quite fast. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel and coffee. Medium carbonation. Flavor of roasted malt, slightly acidic finish. No hops apparent in there.
The aroma promised more than the flavor could keep, so I agree with Pernille: overrated brew.
