50cl fliptop bb02/2015, Fristo FR. Pours a Dunkel maroni brown, not amber as indicate on label ("Bernstein"): smells tired roasty like a Dunkel, drinks bready, with rye bread acidity and a layer of dust - overall a watery Dunkel with poor aftertaste instead of a Keller.

erickok (4931) - Leuven, BELGIUM - AUG 9, 2013
Dark red bodied with light beige head, stable yet small. Moderate malty, doughy aroma, some toast but also fuller, thicker caramel malts. Never sweet though. Also a clean yet present yet. Taste is also quite moderate, but has a solid malt base. Good mouth feel for the abv, pretty full. Not quite as rich as some competitors, but very decent. (50cl bottle from Wasana’s Getränken Oase)

stevoj (3539) - Boise, Idaho, USA - MAY 24, 2013
Quite a surprise. Pours deep brown wit thick, fluffy beige head. Aroma is light toasted malt. Taste is where this beer really gets going. Slightly sweet and nutty, tangy, roast grains, brown sugar with a light bitterness on the tail end. Mouthfeel is litle light, but overall nice finish and lingering palate.

StueyD (1554) - Heacham, Norfolk, ENGLAND - JAN 19, 2013
A mid to dark amber brown coloured beer with a frothy off white coloured head. An initial smoky spiced aroma is shortly followed by a roasted maltiness. Medium-dry and fizzy mouthfeel. A full spectrum of malty flavours! Smoky oak, warming spice of pepper and possibly cinnamon and vanilla! Then a nutty, roasted malt flavour comes through. After all of this there is a certain prickly sourness brought on from hops, giving a well balanced finish. Bottle from Fristo Getränkemarkt, Freising, Germany.
