Bottle, 7.2%. Clear dark brown colour, small tan head. The flavour is roasted and quite vinous. Hint of cream. Some grainy bitterness which is a bit unpleasant. 6 3 6 3 11

dark color, less head very malty. Lighter body than other doppelbocks, lively carbonation keeps this from being overly sticky,..doughy and fruity. It smells of whole-grain bread,..very plesant one.

Bottle. Clear amber colour with a fizzy white head. Aroma of malt and little caramel. Also sweet malty flavour, a nice doppelbock but nothing overwelming.

(swing top bottle, with many thanks to EithCubes) Clear, dark amber colour with a big and slowly lacing beige foam. Sweet malty aroma with a soft roasted caramel note, liquorice and shades of dried red berries. Sweet flavour, rich malty taste with slightly roasted and fruity aspects; medium bodied with smooth mouthfeel; sweet malty and slightly bitter finish with a good length and well-integrated, warming notes of alcohol. Well-rounded and quaffable Doppelbock.

Bottle. Clear orange coloured with a white head. Sweet aroma of malts, caramel and fruits. Flavour of malts, caramel, fruits and hops. Tastes more like bock than doppelbock.

An amber beer with a thin light orange head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet with primary notes of caramel, but then notes of metal and alcohol hits the tongue. OK, but quite simple.

extremely similar to Salvator on appearance. Very thick and firm head. Very aromatic, strong caramel, fruits and malt. Raisins, maybe a hint of roast and coffee also. Taste is thick! Very sweet and hard, very very malty. This is a crafty and complex brew, which I´m unsure what to make of.

Bottled. Amber pour with a thick and explosive eggshell head (which quickly reduced to nothing). Big, strong nose: sweet, alcoholic, fruity (grapish) malt. Darn, could get drunk just from smelling the thing. Taste: sweet, alcoholic, disappointing after such a good sniff. Warming. Not a very flavorful Doppelbock. Still, good sipper for a cold night, or just to wind down after a long day.
