Exploding with hop flavor and aroma, this citrus/piney/floral ale has enough of a malt backbone to stand up to the intense bitterness.

bottle via trade. I suck and donít remember who. poured to snifter. nose is full of a perfect blend of American hops, with even some notes of newer ones like citra. pours slightly hazy. flavor is nothing short of a fresh hop explosion in your mouth. Citrus, lemon, pine...WOW. This is honestly one of the best IPAs I think I have ever had. malt stands up to a solid bitterness but isnít sweet at all. A tad bit of alcohol warming, almost hot, could be better masked. wow, good stuff.

Vegetal scent. Almost like a cucumber with sweet honey dew melon, with a touch of citrus. The flavor is almost similar with a small blast of hops up front that doesn?t linger too long . Very refreshing. I donít know why, but I?m craving sea food. Could be a good paring. Cheers!

12 oz bottled 6 weeks ago, purchased at Hy-Vee Muscatine and poured into a pint glass at home. Light orange and hazy appearance with a fluffy, lingering off-white head, sticky lacing, light sediment. Aroma of resinous hops, citrus fruit, spruce, floral notes, herbs and toasted malts. Similar flavor, hoppy and bitter with light malt sweetness and light spices. Medium body, crisp and dry with average carbonation. Pretty bold resinous flavor with a lasting finish. Enjoyed side by side with their Tasmanian IPA, which was better.

very tasty IPA, has a unique tropical punch like flavor at first then fades into a grapfruit bitter aftertaste. overall a very solid IPA and one of the better midwest offerings

On tap a very pretty mostly clear amber with medium white head. Taste is floral pine with light hops though out. Good mouthfeel, smooth and carries the alcohol very well. Complex in that it seems both sturdy and delicate in layers. Overall very nice.

Tap at Maxís. Pours clear amber with creamy white head. Aroma is bready malts, light citrus, some floral notes, and light pineapple. Flavor is bready malts, light dank, floral hops, and some tropical fruit esters; dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.

12 oz. Clear golden-amber color with a spongy head. Big nose of flowery spicy honey, resiny dried herb and grapefruit. Taste is a nice blend of resin, dank herb, earthy honeycomb, pineapple, mint and mango. Light-medium body has a great balance with a big dry finish and a medium carbonation that doesnít become annoying. This is a very straightforward American hop blast that is dangerously drinkable and by far the best Iíve had amongst two dozen from Schlafly.

Pours a hazy amber color. One finger diminishing head with good lacing. Aroma is pine resin and hops with faint sweet citrus. Taste is bitter pine hops with citrus sweet back end. Smooth on the palate

More aggressive and less citrusy than the TIPA. Pours a golden orange haze. Smells sweet and sticky. Nice malt, orange, and grapefruit flavors up front with great hops on the back end. You taste the hops, but they donít linger on the tongue. One of my favorite Spring IPAs.

Bottle. Pours hazy gold with tiny floaties, barely any head with a lot of lacing. The aroma is citrus, pine, flowers, a hint of honey, and a little malt syrup. The taste adds bitter notes but, very drinkable. The citrus and resiny hops really come out on the finish. The mouthfeel is very smooth, clean, and drinkable. Pretty light on the carb. A very good all-around American ipa with perfect hops - malt balance. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
