COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Exploding with hop flavor and aroma, this citrus/piney/floral ale has enough of a malt backbone to stand up to the intense bitterness.

Bottle from barleyPops. Thanks Dad! Bottled on 5/17 so itís about as fresh as it gets. Dark orange pour with a big white head. I get floral hoppy aromas with a hint of pine. Balanced flavor with plenty of bitter hops and caramel malt to back it up. Creamy mouthfeel and very smooth finish. Really nice, drinkable IPA!

Served: 12 oz bottle Look: pours a clear honey color. Head about 1 finger that hangs into a thick white head Smell: heavy hops, smell that slinky flavor if you know what I mean from the hops. Taste: definite hops/ skunk flavor. Slightly bitter. Strong alcohol smell. Taste the virus fruits. Feel: lighter flavor with not a lot of carbination Overall: not too bad, slightly bitter for my taste. First Drank: home Decatur April 7th, 2014

Ppirs a hazy bright orange. A citrus hop aroma. Some pilsner like characteristics with grains, pine, and malt, but still a nice bitter citrus hop taste and aftertaste. Very dry.

Grainy appearance with a lot of carbonation. The aroma is just what you want a American IPA to have, wonderful citrus smell with a bit of piney aroma. Nice taste with a grapefruity and very slight orange, with a good bitter bite at the middle and finish that you want in a good solid IPA. Overall, this was a solid American IPA that I totally stumbled upon and would try again!

I had this at Global Brew. Pours amber with a white head. Taste citrus, floral, hoppy. I thought this was pretty good. I would definitely drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Amber colored with a medium head. All I have to say is, itís another IPA. Even though there may be some slight differences for the most part they all smell and taste very similar. Citrus, floral, pine in both flavor and aroma.

on tap at Pazzoís (Lexington, KY) clear amber body with good clarity; durable, creamy white head leaves the glass well coated with sticky lacing. Aroma: moderately strong; unusual hop component is fruity but not citrusy excepting some grapefruit Also rather floral. Flavor: a bit unusual too. Again, odd fruity component. A hint of vanilla; a touch floral. A good bit of grapefruit and grapefruit rind in the fnish and aftertaste. Feel: light-medium bodied; medium carbonation that seems a touch low.

bottle via trade. I suck and donít remember who. poured to snifter. nose is full of a perfect blend of American hops, with even some notes of newer ones like citra. pours slightly hazy. flavor is nothing short of a fresh hop explosion in your mouth. Citrus, lemon, pine...WOW. This is honestly one of the best IPAs I think I have ever had. malt stands up to a solid bitterness but isnít sweet at all. A tad bit of alcohol warming, almost hot, could be better masked. wow, good stuff.

Vegetal scent. Almost like a cucumber with sweet honey dew melon, with a touch of citrus. The flavor is almost similar with a small blast of hops up front that doesn?t linger too long . Very refreshing. I donít know why, but I?m craving sea food. Could be a good paring. Cheers!

12 oz bottled 6 weeks ago, purchased at Hy-Vee Muscatine and poured into a pint glass at home. Light orange and hazy appearance with a fluffy, lingering off-white head, sticky lacing, light sediment. Aroma of resinous hops, citrus fruit, spruce, floral notes, herbs and toasted malts. Similar flavor, hoppy and bitter with light malt sweetness and light spices. Medium body, crisp and dry with average carbonation. Pretty bold resinous flavor with a lasting finish. Enjoyed side by side with their Tasmanian IPA, which was better.
