3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled July 20, 2004. Fizzy Yellow Beer Color. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is fruity and sweet, touch of grain. A medium bodied pale lager. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are spicy and slightly bitter. Nicely balanced. Itís most definitely a pale lager, but it differs from most of the other swill in that it has some flavor and bite to it and the corn adjunct is not really annoying. Lawnmower beer, but pleasant. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
A good choice as a gateway beer. A more flavorfull version of the american football beer. The 1904 version (not listed) has a little more hop flavor to it then the standard.

Nothing special here besides it tasting a little better than the mass-marketed lager from the St. Louis area.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
More drinkable than most that fall under our "pale lager" category, this looks like the rest, yellow with a skinny fizzy head. The aroma is a sweet with corn and a faint grassy bitterness. The flavorís much the same, although having a more noticeable bitterness than most in this style. Abrupt finish.

2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20
UPDATED: SEP 11, 2006 Pale golden clear pour, sudsy head that rapidly dissipates. Aroma is corn, grass, and sweet. The palate is smooth and rounded, but still light as to the style. Flavor has a sweetness on the front of the tongue, woody, grassy taste and corn, turning drier on the back of the tongue, and finally, before dissappearing altogether there is a hint that some bittering hops might be in this beer, but they show as pepper. For an American light Lager, I guess its pretty good, although Iím not a big fan of the style. Thanks, alaskanwarren!

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz Bottle: Pours a very light and opaque yellowy gold with little to no head that turns into little lily pads of foam. Aroma is a little peppery, spices, pilsner aroma. The flavor is very pilsner urquell-esque. a biting mouthfeel of carbonatioin and not a ton of flavor, but it is nice.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft: Pristine yellow. Off-white head slowly dwindles. Fairly clean aroma with notes of dough, minerals, peppery hops, and honey. Dense pricks of carbonation, but very soft. Opens with a staunch mineral hardness with softer notes of toasted dough and fennel-accented hop spice. Somewhat tinny, but thereís plenty of malt counteraction. Bitterness steadily progresses as itís carried by the creamy blanket of carbonation. Very well-rounded. Finishes firmly woody and snappily malty with a harmonious marriage of black pepper, grassy hop bitterness, and toasted dough. Salty minerals underline the honey-laced malt aftertaste. Enjoyable.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottled 9/8/2005. Clear yellow body. Corn cereal, pale malt, orangey hops in the aroma. Nice for a corn lager, really. The flavor is also decent featuring fresh field corn, grassy hops, and some white bread. An enjoyable take on the American Lager style.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pale gold / amber color. Clear with a thin white head. Corny sweet aroma, like a malt liquor with some new rubber hints. Rounded flavor... not too bad. Some hops noted.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Has a mild malty, corn aroma to it. Yellow body, some bubbled, with a foamy white head. Flavor is thin, slightly hoppy, but generally not distinct. Has a thin body, such that you notice the carbonation more. Overall, this is rather blah.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Sampled at the brewery. Pretty light on hops, as the style dictates, but well balanced and easy to drink. Very decent.
