Hand pump at the brewpub. Served with a moderate soapy white head and a hazy wheat colored golden body. Aroma is very fresh, resinous and grassy with some sweeter floral notes. Nice rich floral and piney hop flavor with a soapy mild bitter finish. Nice creamy cask feel.

On tap at Flying Saucer Memphis. Pours clear light golden orange with white head. Aroma is citrus hops with some light malt. Flavor is citrus, hops and mild malts. Light on bitterness side. Easy drinker but not a very flavorful APA. Rather average.

bottle - Pours hazy light orange with a one finger, lingering head. It has a predominately citrus hop aroma with some malt in the background. The flavor is moderately hopped with citrus notes leading into a dry finish. It’s highly carbonated and struck me as rather thin. Decent brew.

Bottle, shared by Eugene. Pours an orange body with a yellow white head. Sweet floral purfumy hop character. Soft and sweet with some caramel malt and a bittering finish. Nice.

12 oz bottle bottled on 10/5/09. Probably the freshest beer I’ve ever had.. Smell of pine and dirty gym locker. I really was questioning drinking it and I’m curious what hops this was dry hopped with.. Taste was a touch of fake sweetness (think splenda) and then a really uncomfortable bitterness. I really can’t point it out but this was not a good beer.

Bottled with love on 7/13/2009, consumed with thirst on 9/10/2009. Pours gold with just a touch of amber tint, wild three-finger bubbly head collapses on itself slowly and laces wonderfully. This beer reeks of fuity, flowery hops. Seriously...there is no other aroma, it’s just dominated by the dry-hopping. Flavor allows a bit of bready malt in, but is still heavy on the hops: flowery, fruity, and peppery. Medium-light body, lots of carbonation. I’ll say this offering is a dead-even tie with Boulevard’s Pale, and both are pretty good!

Cask served at Schlafly Tap Room on 9-05-09. Very dark brown with ruby hints with a perfect very dense off-white head. Aroma is very strong and can be noted as soon as they pull it into the glass. A modest amount of citrus, grassy hops and a solid caramel sweet malty underneath. Flavor has a nice toasted malt note, Marris Otter maybe, with some citrus grapefruit, grassy hops, slightly nutty but it also has a real rough hop bitterness at the end that is typical of an APA. Great carbonation for a cask beer with a a very smooth combination of hops and malt. Overall one of their better cask offerings making it a very solid brew. Not much of a woody note for this one but the dry hopping really made it a fantastic beer.
