[bottle] Very orange, no head, and kind of flowery both in taste and smell. I enjoyed about 6 of these in one sitting. Was feeling pretty good near the end, and even 6 beers in, the taste was still very nice. This is a pretty hoppy beer though.

Bottle: Pours an orangish-bronze color with minimal head and lacing. Lots of floral hops present in the nose with some light citrus and just a touch of bread dough. Medium bodied...flavor starts out with some lemony citrus and melds into some light pine and floral notes. Good, quaffable brew.

Draft… Clear amber ale with a small, creamy, white head. The nose is a fusion of toffee, grapefruit and piney, peppery hop. Medium-bodied with a milky mouthfeel and lively carbonation. The flavor is all about bitter, juicy hops and caramel malt. Bittersweet, lupulin/juicy hop finish.

The pour was a dull golden color with an ridiculous white head. Average lacing. The aroma was of stale, herbal hops and light citrus. The flavor was stale hops, falling into that old beer, iced tea flavor that means I probably got an old bottle. Thin, overly carbonated mouthfeel. Not good. Still waiting for something good from this brewery.

MoDog (927) - Griffith, Indiana, USA - JUL 21, 2009
12oz bottle (Bottled 06 02 2009) and served in a shaker. This pale ale poured a golden amber with a light haze and a thick head of slowly fading off-whtie foam. Quite a bit of spotty lacing. The aroma included fresh citrus, grapefruit, light toast, and a bit of caramel. The flavor had moderately bitter grass and grapefruit with faint toasted caramel. Fresh and crisply bitter. Medium-bodied mouthfeel. Light to moderate crisp carbonation. Pretty good stuff. Nice session beer.
