Pours medium gold with a huge frothy head.
Aroma is citrus and herbal hop.
Flavour is peppery herbal hop, some melon and citrus fruitiness. Medium malt body, but mainly dominated by the hop. Bitter lingering finish.

Draught at HBF 09. Golden to light amber, very firm and fluffy light beige head. Ginger spicy nose, flowery hops, little toffee, kiwi and passionfruit, fresh and sweetish. Flavor is more of the same, hops get a bit lost under the sweet maltiness, some grainy notes, maybe even paper, but nothing bothering. Nicely balancing bitterness. Almost medium bodied, strong soft carbonation. Lovely fresh exotic hops, but again the sweetness cuts the best edge from em.

Bottle. Pours a gold color with an off white head. Aroma of pepper, spices, hops. Decent amount of bitterness, folowed up by classic pine/grassy hops. Pretty good APA

Pours clear amber gold with a thick off-white head that is substantial. Sweet orange and pepper citrus spice aroma. Bitterness is up front, more than the aroma led me to believe. That bitterness sticks around and is noticeable minutes after it’s gone. A lot of grapefruit and pine resin tastes and they are backed up by a thick malt body.

Unfortunately overcarbonated. May be a tiny bit of infection as it’s overly dry. Nice hop aroma. You can tell that there would be some good malt there if it weren’t so dry.

Bottle: Gold with a light head and a small ring. It has a light, fresh, hoppy aroma. The body is full and a bit tinny amidst the hop flavors. The finish is nicely prolonged.

On tap at the Tap Room. Also had it in the bottle. It’s much better on tap. Lots of citrusy hops and a dense malt background on tap. In the bottle, it’s a bit overcarbonated with less malt and less freshness, but still quite good.

12 oz. bottle. Bottled 12/2008. Pours a very thick, overly exhuberant fluffy white head, over a cloudy, golden, orangy (SRM 10) body- it is not amber.....nose is mild grapefruit, minimal pine....taste is light grapefruit and pine, no resin, no malt sweetness.....mouth feel is very light, and carbonation is way over done. This is more an "East Coast" style APA as the hops have been handled with a lighter hand than many others.
