An extremely enjoyable hoppy beer. Its hard to find a beer that is nice and hoppy without being unbearable bitter but this certainly does the job. Very refreshing as well.

Oh, others may say how good this is, but it must be for an acquired taste. The flavor is so nasty hoppy that perhaps you should stay away if you’re not into that flavor.

I like this alot. Not quite perfect as I’d like just a little more maltiness. But this is very, very good.

Appearance: Pours a cloudy orange gold with a dense white, 1/2 inch head. Visable carbonation in all of its cloudiness.
Aroma: Orange peel, bread, some sweet malt, and a touch of other citrus fruit.
Taste: Bursting with bitter and citrusy hops, more bitter than sweet. Some light dry and sweet malts intertwine with the high level of hops.
Mouthfeel: Refreshing balanced thickness, slightly juicy.
Overall: I like Saint Louis Spareribs and now Saint Louis beer. This beer is full of big flavors, but doesn’t bog you down with thickness or too much malt. Smells terric as well, due to its advertised dry hopping.
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 mcsquint (93) - , Missouri, USA - MAY 5, 2009
Poured from 12oz bottle into pint glass:
Aroma - Light caramel and grass. Some notes of pine.
Appearance - Clear golden amber in color. Two finger head that dissipates rather quickly leaving very nice lacing.
Flavor - Caramel and golden malt flavor at first quickly followed by pine and citrus hop bite.
Palate - Light on the palate. Carbonation makes gives it a bit of fizz on the tongue. Quick and crisp on the finish.
Overall - I like the way the malt and hops are balanced in this; almost like a lager. The citrus flavor from dry hopping gives it crisp and clean taste. This is very drinkable.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Sparky (2128) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - APR 24, 2009
Bottle courtesy of theisti – thanks Tim! Pours hazy gold with a meringue like white head that stuck around and left thick lacing. The nose is malt and light citrus. The taste is tart citrus and caramel with a faint citrus finish that fades almost immediately. Medium mouthfeel – solid APA. Thanks again Tim!

Picked up a small keg and it’s been a popular choice for friends. Much hops on the nose with a dusty copper color. Easy to drink on the palate and a nice hoppy beer to keep with you for the evening.
