Our Dry Hopped American Pale Ale (APA) is charged with American hops to create a bold, aromatic ale. Assertive hop flavor joins the pine/citrus aroma characteristic of American hops to balance the full body provided by North American malts. After fermentation, the beer circulates through a bed of Cascade and Chinook hops, boosting the distinctive hop aroma of this satisfying ale.

12 fl. oz. bottle picked up at the general store of Franklins Brewery, Hyattsville MD. Pours dark red golden in the glass, lively carbonation. Fine white head. Mango and malt in a hop bedding on the nose. Starts with a lower hop herb, malty, light bitterness. Smooth and fruity, nice pleasant bitterness. Not bad.

This is a clear orange color with a small ring of a fine bubbled head. It has a mild hoppy nose w/ just a teeny touch of citrus maybe. It is pretty dry w/ a vegetable bitterness to the finish. I really do not like the house character of this brewery.

Draft on tap at Schlafly Bottleworks (Maplewood, MO). Pours a nice amber golden hue, a bit darker in the middle with frothy bright white head atop. Mellow ring laces ok and sticks around small. Aromas are a bit soapy, citrusy grapefruit and lemon. Touches of bread, gentle grain, earthy and floral bitterness. Fresh, a touch vibrant. Initial is lighter end with some decent spritzy bitter hops. Lemon, touches of grapefruit and florals. Some touches of bread, gentle earthiness and dough. Cleaner, dry and bitter as we hit the backend. Nice, clean, the beer isn’t hop dominant but is tasty and fresh. Pretty approachable APA. Smells very nice.

I liked the dry hopping in this. It has a nice hop aroma and taste. Not too overpowering, since it’s not an IPA.

Sampled from the tap at Bottleworks. Pours a hazy amber with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of grass and straw with some earthy grains for the backbone. Flavor is full of grass with a touch of pine and straw and grain for the backbone.

Bottle. Golden color. Decent head. Aroma is spruce with grapefruit. Taste is rather bland for a pale ale.
