3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Dorwart (2109) - Robbinsville, New Jersey, USA - DEC 11, 2010
About a 1 inch thick head of fine white bubbles with good carbonation. Very resinous hops aroma with some citrus (oranges) and peaches. Color is a slightly hazy golden orange. Lots more citrus bitterness. Grapefruit, herbs and some dry roasted grains. Rather dry and bitter almost to the point of being pasty and gritty. Finishes with a lingering bitterness and chalky mouthfeel. A pretty good brew if you like bitter beer.

bottle thanks to Creedon pours hazy orange with a medium white head. Aroma is heavy citrus hops and pale malts. Flavor is light toast and hay with a healthy crisp citrus and floral finish. Nice stuff.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Finhead (653) - OFallon, Illinois, USA - NOV 28, 2010
A cloudy gold pour with white head. The aroma is mostly floral hops with hint of wheat. The hops hit right up front in the taste then mellow out with the lively carbonation. After an easy finish, some hop bitterness returns in aftertaste. This is one of my favorite pale ales.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 lovemyipas (539) - sw burbs, Illinois, USA - NOV 7, 2010
pours a light cloudy amber with a bubbly white head. aroma is light citrus hops with a little pine and malt. flavor is the same as aroma but stronger with descent lacing. this is a descent pale, very sessionable, but I would rather take the new glarus moon man I just had.
3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20 obguthr (2384) - Poquoson, Virginia, USA - NOV 7, 2010
Light orange peel nose. Cloudy amber, medium head, good adherence to the glass. Tangerine flavor with just enough sweetness. Wheat bread and orange peel finish. Pretty nice.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Elwood (1834) - Between a rock and a hard place, Virginia, USA - NOV 1, 2010
Serving: Draft at the 2010 Fall Nova Brewfest.
Aroma: The nose is full of hops with nice citrus notes, some grass, and some herbals. I don’t get much on the malt side.
Appearance: It pours a nice amber color with a frothy, white head. Decent head retention and lacing.
Taste: Hop forward with good malt balance. The citrus really comes through but the malts show up bringing a touch of bread and grain to the party. There is a light grassiness in the finish.
Palate: Medium bodied with slightly higher than average, prickly carbonation leading to a medium to long, grassy finish.
Overall: One of the better beers at the festival and certainly worth a shot if you happen upon it.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 unclemattie (3242) - Georgia, USA - OCT 30, 2010
12oz bottle, Green hop buds label. Bottled on 08_04_2009.
Light amber color. Rocky white head. Aromas of spearmint, citrus, and earthy hops. A touch of toasted malts with a tiny bit of caramel. A bit off balance. A bit of cloying sweetness and a sharp hop. Not what I expected for a Dry Hopped APA.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 12many (276) - Alaska, USA - OCT 28, 2010
Hazy gold in color with a pillowy white head and spotty lacing. Earthy/herb/citrus hop aroma coupled with some doughy yeast. There is an off flavor (metalic I think) that is throwing me off. Thin feel with a short aftertaste.
