COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Dry Hopped American Pale Ale (APA) is charged with American hops to create a bold, aromatic ale. Assertive hop flavor joins the pine/citrus aroma characteristic of American hops to balance the full body provided by North American malts. After fermentation, the beer circulates through a bed of Cascade and Chinook hops, boosting the distinctive hop aroma of this satisfying ale.

From bottle. Attractive orange appearance with some white head. Aroma was grass and pine with maybe a little grapefruit. Initial reaction was that this is a hoppier version of Schlafly’s Pale Ale, which is perfectly fine with me. Good warm weather session beer.

On tap at the at louis airport. Hazy orange with a white head that only briefly graced us with its presence. Orange peel and wheat and hops were dominant but nothing overwhelming.

Poured from 12oz bottle to pint glass. Weak thin head dissipated quickly with minimal lacing. Citrus and honey aroma. Straw colored with significant hazing. Piney citrus taste with minimal malt sweetness. Overall an APA that struggles to identify itself.

Pours a clear golden with a thinner white head. The aroma has grassy hops, caramel, mild grapefruit and mango, and some spice. The taste has some bitterness, with heavy grapefruit and some pineapple. There are some floral hops, and some lesser impressions of pine and caramel. Aftertaste is grapefruit. This is lighter in body, has a slick texture, and about average in carbonation. Its alright and is rather easy to drink. Its nothing to knock your socks off though.

Great copper orange look from a bottle in a tulip glass. Decent hoppy aroma. A little bitter and not flavorful enough for my taste.

Great cascade like aroma, superb pine flavor and some grassiness finish wa exactly that a finish, no lingering crap in background just a great clean finish expected in this style.

Bottle to glass. Pours a light copper, one finger of white head. Aroma of light citrus hops, grassy. Taste is nicely balanced roasted, semi sweet malts with lightly citrusy hops. Pretty enjoyable!

Assertive. The aroma is good and the taste is even better with plenty of the cascade blasting through. The appearance is a bit chunky and turbid. Finish is a nice amount of bitterness with only a puny of malt stickiness. Overall, it’s very pleasing.

355ml bottle. Bottled 12/13/14. Pours a darker gold than in the picture. Aroma is basic, caramel, earth, citrus, ambiguous fruit. Flavor is fruity, herbal, farily round and watery but yet witha dry finish. Spicy and herbal, a bit acidic. Its decent.

12 oz bottle into a pint glass. From notes, because internet outage. A: Pours a mildly hazy gold color. There’s a finger worth of white-colored head. It’s bubbly texture has decent retention, and also leaves behind rings of lacing down the side of the glass. S: The malts here are quite nutty, backed by some piny hops, and even some indistinct spice notes. There are touches of citrus, but I wished this was stronger. All in all, a mild and unimpressive aroma. T: It starts off with some mild nut flavors along with caramel touches. The pepper I picked up from the nose is fairly prevalent here, also. Hops only really show up as a piny flavor near the back end. Not bad, but a classic example of a beer that’s balanced to a fault. M: Very crisp and light, even over other pale ales. Even better, it isn’t particularly watery in feel, boasting decent body without overdone residual sweetness. Carbonation is at a good level, not too fizzy nor too flat. O: The feel was great, but everything else was rather lacking. Luckily, it’s great drinkability helps (somewhat) to mask its less-than-amazing flavor profile. Still, this isn’t going to be on my "repeat purchase" list anytime soon.
