Pours a thin, and whisky-like deep amber with noticable viscosity. Huge, deep, sweet caramel aroma with chocolate covered orange. Full, fluffy mouth. Sticky, yet carbonation can still be felt. Sugary, bitter... quite all over the place which is actually rather nice. Tea bitters, mild sour grassy hops. Barreled characteristics are subdued until late. My notes conclude with: "Rate Soon", "Find Again", & "Gorgeous".

Aug 8, 2008 Nice Barleywine. Cloudy amber brown. Aroma is sweet. Taste of sweet malt, molasses, and hops.

Jul 19, 2008 Pours an amber color with an off-white head. Aroma is of caramel malts, dark fruits, and some alcohol. Flavor is the same with a lingering finish with some warming.

Jun 3, 2008 Brown bodied. Wonderful malt and brown sugar aroma. Flavor is caramely and similar to the aroma. A delicious body.

Aroma: dark caramel aroma with a touch of fruity sweetness,
Flavor: rich dark caramel flavor, nice caramel sweetness is balanced by lots of earthyness, touch of fruity character, hint of peppery alcohol,
Overall: would age very well,
