Sampled at Schlafly Repeal of Prohibition festival. Pours hazy yellow with a white head. The aroma has dark candy bananas, light plastic and is quite yeasty. Medium smooth rich body with semi-soft carbonation. The taste has banana, heavy on the wheat, light yeast and pepper. Decent.

A gold colored pour with a big soapy white head. Decent retention. Very nice aroma of clove and banana. Nice flavor, too. Clove and banana, again. Some bubble gum. It is smooth and very crisp. Very nice!

Tasted 4/2/09. Draft from the Bottleworks. Hazy with a golden orange hue. Ring of white head. Aromas of cereal grains and lemony citrus. Medium bodied with a chalky, tingling effervescence. Orange and citrus flavors. German grains and Belgian yeast. Touch toasty and mildly grassy. Bright effervescence. Trace noble hop profile. Touch tart in the finish. Fresh and good. Quite a serendipitous mistake.

Apparently, a mistake made by the Brewery. They accidentally added the Number 15 yeast to the Hefeweizen recipe. Murky yellow with a thin white head that fades away quickly and leaves minimal lacing. Aroma of banana, yeast, toasted malt and light wheat. Taste of banana, nuts, yeast and wheat. Finishes up a bit dry with banana lasting for awhile after the finish. Fairly quenching, and while not a bad beer, I prefer the Number 15 to this one.
