3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap pours a near clear deep yellow gold with white fizz. The aroma is musty grains and earthy fruits familiar to golden Belgians. The flavors are gentle and crisp with some sweetness throughout. It has a lightly musty grain with some grainy spice complimenting the yeast with a near peppery crisp spice. The hops due some back up work with an earthy citrus orange, all the soft flavors working in unison. Not a beer that will knock your socks off but very well done.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Honey and candi aroma, strong. Clear amber, thin head. Malty, but not so sweet. A bit metallic. Tons of muddled Belgian yeast esters. Good.

Bottle at home. Pours clear gold with a medium, frothy white head, medium-short retention with light lacing. Aroma is toasted malt, light diacetyl (buttered popcorn), Belgian candi sugar, pear esters, faint hops and light bitterness with a sweet finish. Medium body and carbonation.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Nice standard Belgian with a clear gold color and fizzy palate. Has a yeasty aroma and sweet caramel flavor. Not a bitter beer.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy dark gold body under a one finger white head that left some sticky lacing. The nose is lightly fruity with floral hops and some light yeastiness. The flavor is really pretty interesting, thereís a nice juicy fruitiness to it thatís really refreshing. Just a light touch of bitterness on the finish that seems to enhance the fruity character from the yeast. Really well hidden alcohol, hard to peg this at 7% ABV. Light bodied and refreshing with perfect soft fizzy carbonation. One of the best Schlafly beers Iíve ever had.

Poured a crystal clear golden with no head at all. Drank at slightly under room temp. Nose has bananas bubblegum and some spice. Flavor is clean and crisp. Slight bitterness but also somewhat sweet. Medium body. A very nice beer. One of the better of their mass bottled beers. Very nice.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Poured from bottle. Slightly hazy golden yellow with medium white head. Taste is mildly fruit and spice..... a bit muddy at the start but finishes on a crisper note. Becomes smoother as it warms a bit. Pleasant enough but not totally Belgian in character.
