May 11, 2007 (draught at the St. Louis Brewers Heritage Festival) Copper with off white head, nice lace. Sweetish malt aroms. Flaovr is toasted malt with some sweetness.

Feb 23, 2007 Pours clear bronze with a tan head. The aroma has musty dark toasted malt with some toffee. Medium body with light carbonation. The flavor starts with toasted malt that is fairly thin tasting - there are also some medicinal qualities. The finish is metallic and sour. I don’t think I’ll be having this one again.

Jan 30, 2007 #1006, on tap at the brewery on 1/28/2007. Dark brown, clear with no carbonation and clear. Very slim white head that is quickly discipating. The nose has lots of cream and yeast with some hints of grains. Taste has some yeast with more dark skins and malts roasted in and out. Reasonable alcohol presence. Very drinkable and spot on for the style.
