3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a deep amber to brown, if not quite black, with a fair khaki head that settles to a thick ring and leaves some nice hanging, fluffy lace. Nose involves some clean lager yeast, some dark fruit, raisin and prune, some toast. Some sweet, fair bitter, a bit tart. Medium-light body, pretty active, a bit slippery, with a lengthy fruity and toasty bitter finish. Pretty tasty, definitely sessionable, nice character.

Can, "thanks" to Drake. Deep brown with a tight tan head. The nose isn’t great. Pretty corny. Cardboard, light vomit. Roasted malt. Licorice. The taste is pretty neutral. Light honey and toffee. Bread. Little else. Light body, moderate carbonation. Meh.
