COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Schlafly IPA is a session IPA, a smooth golden ale packed with the bold flavor and aroma of American hops. We crafted it in the spirit of the low gravity IPAs common in the UK where the style stands for hoppy, not heavy.

Very nice for the hot weather. The hops give it an added dryness from regular hot weather type beers. Hoppy aroma and a hoppy flavor. Very easy drinking and refreshing.

Pint on tap. Foggy orange-caramel color with a thin film of foam. Nose is resin and green herb with some caramel and citrus underneath. Tastes the same. Light-medium body has a nice balance and medium carbonation.

Lilly and starfruit nose. Clear amber, medium head. Hearty malt, dandelion. Medium body, easy carbonation, low bitterness. Tasty and smooth. Nice intrpretation of the style.

Hazy orange to copper pour with a one finger, creamy to soapy off white head. Aroma is planty, citrus, grass, fruity esters, toast and a little biscuit. Flavor is toasty, citrus, grassy, biscuit, fruity esters and a little toffee. Light body, medium to heavy, sharp carbonation. Good stuff, lots of flavor for the ABV, somewhere between American IPA and English IPA in character.

Hazy orange colored body, medium sized white head, and soapy lacing. Light florals, citrus, and cracker. Simple and pleasant. Medium to light bodied, moderate carbonation, mild bitterness.

Can. Pours a mostly clear light golden color with a white head. Aroma is the best part of this beer, with a solid punch of citrusy, orange and lemon hops. Flavor is mild, light bitterness, a bit astringent. A bit thin in body, but very quenchable. Decent beer for what it is. Although session beers just don’t do it for me.

Tap at Schlafly in the STL airport - concourse E. Very slightly hazy light gold pour. Great aroma and taste of citrus and floral. Easy drinking and delicious.

Schlafly’s version of Stone’s Go To IPA. Its a light IPA. Hops are decent and it finishes clean. Nothing here is overly complex. Hops are a mix of lemon and orange. Best on a summer day on a patio. Very good.

Crisp and clear golden coloured body with a light hazy bronze glow and a very thin, half centimetre tall just off-white head. Aroma of light hops with cascade notes, hints of perfume and a touch of light grapefruit. Light-bodied; Sharp hoppy flavour of the cascade, citrus, piney and floral hop flavours with a touch of yeast and the slightest hint of alcohol noticeable. Aftertaste shows a proper balance of hops and malt for the light IPA style with an emphasis on the citrus and perfumey qualities and they show well. Overall, a very nice beer for the style with a very easy-to-drink mouthful, yet still full of hops and not cloying at all make this very nice and worth searching out for. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Whole Foods in Washington (Foggy Bottom), D.C. on 14-August-2014 for US$1,99 sampled at home here in Washington on 22-November-2014.

Pours a clear golden color with a good head. Sweet aroma with a touch of odd alcohol. Flavor is a bit bitter and dank. Not ideal. Rated on the toilet.
