2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
A medium intensity aroma of floral hops with citrus and pine as well as traces of plum and orange. Good looking beer with a small white head on a light;y carbonated, clear golden body. Taste disappoints after such a great aroma. It is a mild floral and pine taste with a thin watery body and not much aftertaste.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at the STL airport. Pours hazy amberish gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has lots of earthy grass hops with a touch of resin and an earthy grain backbone. Flavor is similar with a bit sweeter, but still earthy, citrus, a bit of grass and grain underlying.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a slightly hazy golden with white head. Spruce, bread, and light fruit on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with more bread malt notes.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap @ Schlafly Tap Room, Lambert Airport edition. Just listed as IPA, but apparently thatís this. Clear golden pour with a white head. Nose has a bit of a cracker note to it and is a touch on the soapy side. Lots of floral hops, though, and a nice citrus character. Perhaps a touch too bitter on the palate. Soap, lots of citrus rind, and pine. Somewhat grassy, too. Only a mild malt sweetness, more along the lines of dry, crackery malt.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Have only had 5-6 of this new style, but this is the best offering of a "Session IPA" Iíve had to date. Pours a light amber with moderate head. Good hop presence on the nose. Well-balanced taste leaning to the hops more than malt. Nice, dry finish and once again, a good offering of the style.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Appearance: clear orange gold, with a frothy white head, average lacing. Aroma: fruity aroma, with citrus and tropical mainly, light pine, hint of honey. Taste: blood orange, pineapple, mango, lemon zest, light resin, sweet bready caramel malts underneath. Finish: dry, with medium-length bitter citrus. Notes: Very good example of the style, with a full body for the abv, decently balanced flavors, with hop character that is pronounced without being overly bitter. NoVA Brewfest 2014.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A hazy copper beer with a small white head. The aroma is lightly floral and citrus. The flavor is grassy and piney, good solid bitterness.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Can from Total Wine and More in Claymont. Pours clear amber with a small off white head, glass bubbles, decent head retention. The aroma has a blend of caramel, pine, grass, quite hoppy, light citrus. The taste has a nice bitterness followed by a caramel balance, limited fruit in this guy. PRetty assertive but more on the APA than session IPA side.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a hazy orange with a medium head and some spotty lacing on the glass.
The aroma is floral and a touch soapy, itís got some graham cracker & some limestone. Session IPAs (to me) seem to display a very hop forward aroma, this one misses that stylistic mark without being unpleasant.
The flavor is really pretty nice, hop forward with a touch of sweetness up front and a dryness throughout the rest of the palate. Itís got a nice fruit forward happiness along with a pleasant but low level of bitterness. The beer has a tinge of minerallity throughout which is sort of cool.
The beer does a better job than many at not coming across thin at such a low ABV.
chill golden brew, would be chitl with drinking about 70 of them over the course of a day.
