2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Wasn’t a huge fan of this one. Not a whole lot of flavor. Aroma was pine and spruce. Poured a orange color. Not the best Christmas beer out there.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz. bottle courtesy of a trade with beastiefan2k. Pours a hazy orange with a thin-moderate linen white head that lasted through the first quarter of the glass and left partial lace. Pleasant aroma of orange peel, honey, and cloves. The flavor is mild malt with stronger orange peel, honey and cloves. Black pepper emerges in the aftertaste about five seconds after the swallow and lingers for several seconds. Nice to try something a little different.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle shared by Daknole. Luminescent glowing orange with tight white head. Aroma is subdued and hidden but classy. Includes predominant orange peel, aromatic herbs, and some well-integrated candi sugars and alcohol. High carbonation but sturdy and firm, not fizzy. Very nice flavors, like a tripel in character with lots of orange peel and mild spice, not a lot of clove. Finishes thin but otherwise nice.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Vibrant opaque amber. No head. Light malt and light spice on the nose. Balanced, herbal character with a spicy finish. Good malt signature. Nice balance.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Acknud. This was better than I expected. Pours nice cloudy brown color. Nice nose of spices, caramel, alchohol, and some very light hop notes. Flavor is malty and sweet with some graham flavors, cinammon, nutmeg and a light, light hops at the end.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Courtesy beastiefan. Caramel colored, with a really nice palate. Natural feeling carbonation, full with a prickly carbonation, complemented by warming caramel-cookie malts and a tempting citrus orange quality, overall very cookieish.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pour is a murky brown with a small white head. Aroma is pretty darn good with gingerbread, cinammon and nutmeg all coming through. Flavor is weaker than the aroma but there is a very dry spiceyness to it. Hops make an appearence at the end. Still this is a pretty tasty and warming brew.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle: Pours a pale gold color with no head...nose is mainly biscuit-y malts with some spruce, coriander, citrus zest and light nutmeg. Medium bodied...flavor follows the path of the nose righteously. Decent, nothing to write home about.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Draft at Old Chicago in Peoria, IL. Served in pint glass. Dark color. Roasty aroma. Very spicy nose. Alc and spice in the mouth along with some chocolate. Pretty solid stuff. Although I can wait another year before it’s available again.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
In the bottle thanks to hurrisnow. Reddish amber with a fast dying white head. Strong orange and clove aroma. I really like this. It has the perfect malt body that does not mask the spices used. This really has as much of a spice profile as the 2008 Anchor OSA. Chunks of things are in the bottom of the bottle. Really outstanding.
