3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On draft . . . somewhere. Rating from notes. Pours a deep reddish color with an off white head. Aroma of cinnamon, all spice, ginger, clove, and citrus. Flavor is dominated by spice, with some bready and sweet malt notes. Full bodied, with thick mouthfeel and creamy carbonation. Finishes with ginger.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Clear amber brown color, solid 1" beige head, splashes of lace. Aroma of malt and spice. Taste is malt that moves through a medium carbonated swallow before turning to cloves and ginger, perhaps a bit of orange. The finish never finds any hops to speak of. Big and somewhat spicy, works well enough.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Nearly clear dark amber pour with a two finger, creamy to soapy beige head. Aroma is dark caramel, dried orange, pine, and ginger heavy pie spice. Flavor is sweet caramel, dried orange peel, light toffee, juniper berry, berry esters, ginger and cloves, probably a bit more cloves than I would like, but the spices work well overall. Medium body, slightly chewy feel, medium, sharp carbonation, dry finish. Good stuff overall, enjoyable spice blend and nice chewy, slightly boozy character, perfect for a winter warmer.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Easily one of the best Christmas beers and one I can reliably expect my parents to be well-stocked in over the holidays. Very nice balance of thick spiciness with mellow sweetness.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a clear golden brown on tap with dissipating off-white head that leaves moderate lace. Aroma of Christmas spice and nuts. Taste follows: ginger, all spice, clove. Thinner, but booze well hidden, soft carbonation, decent Christmas beer.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Poured out of a 12 oz bottle in a Sam Adams glass.
Aroma is very sweet with notes of cinnamon and ginger.
Appearance is a dark reddish brown.
Taste hits with a malty sweetness right off the bat. A very nice mix of spices quickly puts the malts in the backseat of this beer’s experience. Cinnamon, ginger, and allspice come through as the dominant taste in this brew. Others have mentioned gingerbread, and something similar to gingerbread does catch an end note for this beer, but it is not the prominent flavor.
Palate: Would appeal to a wide variety of craft beer drinkers I believe. Not a strong hop presence, but that isn’t a key part of this style. The balance of malt and spices is well put together in this beer without the need for a strong blast from any hop varieties. Hop heads should find satisfaction elsewhere.
Overall; this beer is a solid Christmas Ale that I would drink again given the chance.
