COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Dry Hopped American Pale Ale (APA) is charged with American hops to create a bold, aromatic ale. Assertive hop flavor joins the pine/citrus aroma characteristic of American hops to balance the full body provided by North American malts. After fermentation, the beer circulates through a bed of Cascade and Chinook hops, boosting the distinctive hop aroma of this satisfying ale.

In short: A basic dry, citrusy and grassy pale ale. Unspectacularly drinkable.
How: Bottle 12oz. Consumed as soon as we got it through private importation, but already more than 4 months after bottling date :(
The look: Clear golden body topped by a persistent medium white head leaving lots of lacings on the glass.
In long: The somewhat timid hoppy nose is part fruity (usual citrus fruits) and part herbal-grassy. Taste is basic clean APA. A medium size body with an active carbonation. Plenty of cereals offering a strong toastiness sensation and only a mild caramel sweetness. A hopping providing a citrusy and grassy bitterness of medium intensity. A finish that is rather sharp and very much on the dry side. My bottle was not fresh because of the long private importation process, but thanks to a bottling date (not an expiration date) I can try to extrapolate how this could taste a few months fresher. This really an old-school IPA, the type of IPA that was the norm many years ago, drink this beer while reading the magazines in your dentist waiting room and youíll believed youíve travelled back to 2007. Sometimes when I get home after work I surprise my wife by kissing her BEFORE opening a beer because I donít want our relationship to fall into routine.

Not bad. A little more bitter than I wanted it to be but still good. If you like IPAs you might like this

Bottle: Poured a golden color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma consists of floral hoppy notes with light citrus undertones. Taste is also dominated by some citrus and floral hoppy notes with a dry malt backbone. Body is quite full with good carbonation. Good beer but not as hoppy as I was expecting.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a yellowish head. The aroma straw and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and caramel, leading to a bitter finish.

Not the aroma bomb you expect, but very nice and surprisingly balanced. Sweet with very little bitterness at the end of the taste.

Aroma: caramel, bread, earthy. Appearance: golden, clear, sparkling, minimal head. Taste: medium bitterness, light sweetness, slight floral taste (very mild hint of floral.) Palate: medium body, thin feel, fizzy, abrupt finish. Overall: Iíve been called crazy for this, but this beer tastes like a very mild Two Hearted Ale, because of the malts and the floral quality. Obviously, Iíd choose Two Hearted over this any day, but this beer is pretty good!
