COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our English Style Export IPA features 100% English hops and a big malt backbone built upon pale and caramel malted barley. The hop varietals, Pilgrim and East Kent Goldings, lend a quality of lemon and spice, which play off of the fruity flavors contributed by the London ale yeast.

Pours an amber color with a white foam head that doesn’t last that long. Spicy aroma, medium sweet taste with a short bitter finish. Thick texture, okay overall. Not my favorite but I did enjoy the bottle I had.

Smells ok. Sweet and iced tea like. Suspended stuff (hops?), like the APA. Tastes ok. Like sour iced tea with a bit of banana. Hmm. It’s not bad. Nice thick palate. The taste is the worst part of this beer. Everything else is really good. How weird.

Bottle from Beer Culture in New York September 2013. Sweet fruit aroma with Passionfruit dominating. A good solid IPA.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a head of foamy with a frothy top fine to large sized white colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a softly carbonated transparent golden orange colored body and an excellent lacing. The mild aroma was hoppy and bready. The sharp mouth feel was very tingly at the start and at the finish with a biting hoppy aftertaste. The sharp flavor contained notes of bitter and hops. Delicious and one I would certainly like to have again.

12oz 6pack from Spirits Brick. Poured a thicker clear body orange with tons of floating sediment and an average to larger foamy mostly white head. Aroma is spicy and peppery, lemon and dry tropical fruits, grassy hops and medium toast. Flavor has a surprising amount of pepper spice throughout, rotting fruits, old bread. Fuller big bodied, stronger carbonation, and a dry bitter finish.

Transfer from BA review on 8-27-13- Poured from bottle into a pint glass Appearance – The beer pours a hazy golden orange color with a small half finger of white foam. The more fizzy foam fades relatively quickly leaving a decent level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass. Smell – The aroma is sweeter and citrusy. The sweet is a mix of tangerine, tropical fruit, and caramel. They are all accompanied by a lemongrass and light floral hop smell. Rounding these smells out is a little bit of pine, overall producing a rather present aroma. Taste – The taste starts out with some caramel sweetness with a bit of a smooth bready nature mixed with it. Upfront there is some lemongrass and a little bit of grapefruit hop. The hop flavor is lighter upfront, but soon gets quite a bit stronger. While the grapefruit remains light throughout, the lemongrass gets stronger and is joined by a rather stronger earthy, vegetal, and herbal taste. More biscuit joins the taste with the herbal and vegetal growing even more potent at the very end leaving a rather bitter but nice taste to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel –The body of the beer is on the average side in terms of thickness and creaminess with a carbonation level that is rather average overall. Both create a nice base for maintaining drinkability as well as still supporting the nice earthy hop flavors. Overall – A rather enjoyable brew overall with a good dose of herbal, earthy, and lemongrass hop flavors.

Pours a light gold with thick frothy head. Hoppy bitterness coupled with sweet citrus, pine, lemon. Overall, a tasty IPA.
