3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 alexsdad06 (3042) - Ohio, USA - OCT 2, 200812 oz. bottle. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a lasting medium sized fluffy off white head. The aroma has hints of grapefruit, grassy hops, and floral qualities as well, although nothing is too dominant. The flavor is heavy on the bitterness and it lingers well into the finish. Not as much grapefruit as the nose led me to believe. The malts do not stand up to the bitterness, but what is there is more bready and pale. The finish, in addition to being bitter, is dry. This is a decent IPA.

Uploading old ratings that were missing comments. Seems to be more in the English style. Good balance and understated.

Golden brown. More gold than brown. Head hws a slight yellow tint to it. Smellsnof hops and lemon/citrus. Flavor starts off very nice. Malt, citrus and bitter hops. Then everything fades and you are left with just a dry bitter taste.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 GeneralGao (3614) - Iowa City, Iowa, USA - DEC 2, 2012
Draft. Poured a clear medium orange color with a white head. Smelled of earthy hop, subdued apricot, and pale malt. Light to medium bodied. Delicately sweet up front, drier finish. Fresh cereal grain, earthy hop, and subdued caramel flavors.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 seymour (1099) - Saint Louis, Missouri, USA - SEP 17, 2012
Sampled on tap at the 2012 Schlafly Hop In The City festival. It poured a hazy golden light amber color with weak white head, no lace. 100% true-to-style English style IPA aromas and flavors. It appears they used traditional Fuggles and Goldings hops. Earthy, flowery, citrusy (but not grapefruity), mild but not masked malt sweetness. Well-concealed elevated alcohol. This was the least audacious, and in my opinion, likely the best IPA of the fest.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Onslow (924) - Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA - AUG 26, 2012
Pour form a 12oz bottle. AMber brew with nice off white head. Aroma of light malts, brown sugar, foral hops. Taste is a solid malt backbone with floral and herbal hops rolling in mid swallow. Nice blend of sweet and bitter, easy drinking and tasty English style IPA.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Westmeister (938) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - JUN 12, 2012
12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear bright orange/yellow with nice long lasting white head, good lacing. Smell is bready malts, grass and earthy hops and some caramel sweetness. Taste is sweet breads, a little marzipan, very little citrus hops, caramel, earthy hops. Finish is a tad creamy and full for an IPA. Overall, I am torn on this beer. It is a nice English style IPA, quite malty. I can respect this and for a malty ipa it is quite nice. However, I like my bitterness and citrus notes. So, for some this will be perfect, but for me it is a glad I tried it but moving on.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 bluejacket74 (992) - Reynoldsburg, Ohio, USA - MAY 25, 2012
12 ounce bottle, bottled on 3/20/2012. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a hazy orange/amber color with about a half inch off-white head. Head retention is good, and there’s a lot of lacing left on the glass. The brew smells like herbal hops, bready malt, and some caramel. It tastes like herbal and citrusy (grapefruit) hops, along with some apricots, caramel and bready malt. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it’s a bit creamy and smooth with moderate carbonation. I think this is a good overall brew, I’d buy a 6 pack of this the next time I come across it. It’s a nice English IPA that I enjoyed. I either picked this up at Party Town or Liquor Barn, I can’t remember which place for sure.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 clong83 (285) - San Diego, California, USA - MAY 17, 2012
Weird aroma. Can’t quite put my finger on it, but not was I was expecting. More like dark fruits than citrus or pine. I taste a sip. RAISINS! Oh my god, raisins! Tastes like a type of nectar laden beer-like prune juice! Hops are there, and the beer is bitter, but let nobody claim these guys didn’t try to do something interesting with the malt character as well. Something completely different than a typical IPA, and I have difficulty even calling it that. It’s delicious, whatever it is.
