355ml bottle. Golden pour, slight haze. Not much aroma. Flavor is sweet wheat, no real yeast character. Its mundane, not great. Needs a re-up.

Bottle from Schnucks. Aroma is weak ester/stale beer. Appearance is hazy yellow with 1 finger-width white foamy head and minimal lacing. Taste is very mild sweet followed by mild to moderate bitterness. Palate is light bodied with thin texture and flat carbonation and long bitter finish. Overall, a pretty weak taste, and what there is is too unbalance to the bitter side for this beer. Better alternatives elsewhere.

This a great starter craft beer. Its a little off at the end and there isnít enough hops but if youíre not a hop head you love this brew.

Aroma is some malts. Taste is hints of wheat, but far from one of the better wheat beers. Overall not a great hefeweizen.

Just really bad. Very watery, bitter, flavorless. Not a wheaty, yeasty, clove-y brew like a Hefe should be. Donít bother with this one!

12 oz can, poured into a bell glass at approximately 40 degrees F. A: Poured very, very pale, like water with a hint of an echo of the shadow of a yellowish tinge. In the glass, it takes on a little more color, turning a polished gold hue. It looks more like a dark cider than a hefeweizen, forming a minimal head that dies away quickly and appearing more hazy than cloudy. It does leave some scattered patches of persistent lacing on the glass. S: The aroma is primarily wheat and grain fields, with a few hints of clove and something slightly bubble-gum-esque. Not much in the way of fruit odors. T: With all respects to Douglas Adams, the taste is not almost, but not quite, exactly unlike a hefeweizen. This drinks more like a yellow lager, with the same sort of hop profile - wheaten and grassy, with a slight citrus tang. None of the clove or bubblegum from the nose appears, and none of the fruity esters one would expect from a hefeweizen seem to be present. M: Watery, but with rather active carbonation. O: There are many better examples of the hefeweizen style out there. This seems almost mislabeled, more like a pale wheat ale.
