1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Bottle. Smells of light bread. Taste is extremely light, lacking even a tiny bit of smooth wheat that is the hallmark of decent wheat beers. Poor offering.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle. Pours a crystal clear golden color with a small white head on it. Nose is extremely wheaty with a fair amount of skunk in it. Taste has a slight bit of citrus in there with some skunk as well. Not really a fan.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
I had this at Fridays. Pours gold with a white head. Taste lemony, citrus. I thought was pretty good. I would definitely drink this again.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours an opaque yellow with a head that rapidly disappears. Aroma of straw and lemon and some bitter hop. Light flavor of lemon and wheat. Actually one of the more refreshing wheats Iíve had - not too sour or earthy. Iím surprised this isnít higher-rated. Perfect on a hot day.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
The color of this beer is a hazy light yellow color with a large white head that fades quickly, and the aroma is a fairly simply blend of dough yeast and wheat. The taste is mildly sour and slightly sweet, and the palate combines a medium body, soft carbonation, slick texture, and a sour and malty finish.

Had at the Tap Room in St. Louis in the summer of 2011. I'm not generally a fan of the style. A drinkable beer especially in the summer.

Draft from the schlafly tap room. Fairly average domestic hefeweizen. Nothing stood out as a special offering.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle into Weizen glass. Slightly hazy golden yellow color with white head. Aroma is kind of light; notes of wheat, bread and peppery. Taste is light too of the aroma notes, maybe adding a slight lemon quality. Light body, moderate carbonation, crisp, smooth with dry finish. Was expecting more Hefeweizen qualities since the bottle calls it such. So decent wheat ale, disappointing Hefe.

2.8 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12oz bottle direct from the Schlafly Tap Room in St Louis. Beautiful pour with a fresh, foamy head. Color is a pale yellow-gold with the slight haze typical of unfiltered wheat beers. Aroma is almost non-existent with just a hint of mustiness. Taste is crisp with a mild citrusy sweetness that is mouth-filling, refreshing and well balanced. The taste lingers briefly on the palate with no aftertaste whatsoever. A dangerously drinkable heffeweisen!

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
12oz bottle, from Party Town. Bottled with love on 6/06/13. Shared with b3shine. Mostly clear golden yellow color. Thin bit of white head on the surface, leaves a couple tiny dots of lace. This smells distinctly light a pilsner, which is very odd. Bready, and peppery, itís an alluring pilsner smell, but totally out of place and unexpected for a beer that calls itself a hefeweizen. No banana, vanilla, spice notes that youíd expect.. Taste is moderate bitter, minimal sweet. Tastes more like a lager than an ale, much less sweet than any wheat ale Iíve ever head. Hint of lemon citrus. Lighter body. Smooth, crisp lighter carbonation, lightly dry finish. A pretty good, light, refreshing pils. Thatís how I rated this. A hefeweizen, or a wheat ale, even... Itís way off the mark
