Draught at Locust St. location. Pours hazy yellow with an average, fizzy, white head, mostly lasting with good lacing. Aroma is average malt (hay, straw, cereal), light hops (citrus), light yeast (earth) with notes of banana and clove. Light bodied, sticky texture, average carbonation, and a bitter finish. Average duration, light sweetness, acidity, and bitterness.

Sep 26, 2008 Aroma of lemon, wheat and some funky cross between sweat and sour bread dough. A hefe that has a vague candy like quality that is reminescent of Froot Loops. Meh.

Sep 11, 2008 "Schlafly Unfiltered Wheat Hefeweizen." Bottle. Hazy gold color with a frothy white head. Fresh grainy aroma with a touch of citrus and some spice. Near medium body with creamy carbonation. Flavor is fresh grain and citrus, with only a hint of banana. Tastes great.

Sep 2, 2008 Bottle. Poures a hazy pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma of wheat, banana and cloves. Flavor reflects the aroma. Good beer for a summer day, but not my favorite wheat ale. Not sure why all the ratings are so low though.

Aug 16, 2008 Bottle. Pours a clearer, pale yellow with a suprising head. Nose is lightly sprinkled with banana and spice. The little hefeweizen that couldn’t most aptly describes this brew. It’s on it’s way, far from unpleasent, but just falls short. Good and refreshing for a hot summer day though.
