2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a very clear, yellow color with a big frothy white head. Aroma has a noticeable grainy note, some lemon citrus and a light honey sweetness. Flavor is slightly grassy, lots of pilsner grain notes, a little bit of lemon citrus hidden away toward the ending. Very crisp flavor and a smooth light brew overall but just a slight watery feeling to it. Not bad for a summer session beer.
Earlier Rating: 5/26/2009 Total Score: 3.3
Pours a crystal clear golden color with a modest, bubbly head with very high carbonation. Aroma is very strong of pilsner malt with some light floral hops notes. Flavor is very grainy, light grassy hoppiness and finishes with a fairly sweet profile. The beer is pretty effervescent. Overall the beer has a very crisp, clean and a perfect beer for the summer and fits the style very, very well.

Bottle. Pale gold body with a diminishing white, frothy head. Faint aroma of husky grain and lemongrass with hints of floral hops. The flavor is lightly to moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and lightly bitter. Medium body, watery texture and prickly carbonation. Refreshing enough, but watery thin in both texture and flavor.

On tap at Bottleworks. Body is a pale yellowish gold with a thin head and aromas that almost seem like wheat and light grass. Flavors follow suite but are a little washed out. Described accurately as a lawnmower beer by the gal pouring at the bar.

12 oz bottle purchased as part of a mix a six at Lukas in Overland Park, Kansas. Bottled With Love on 05 11 2009 stamped on the label (I wish every brewery did this). Pour is chill haze yellow golden with some visible carbonation and a noisy two inch white head. Head falls loosely, leaving behind splotchy lacing. Aroma of fresh toasted Munich malt and floral hops. Clean though faint nose. Taste is toasted malt, some sharp fruit sweetness and earthy bright floral hoppiness. The three flavors are not melded well and the taste is a bit harsh. Palate is medium, medium to low carbonation and a longish mineral finish. As the beer warmed, the flavors came together much better. This was quaffable, nice Summer beer.

12oz. bottle served in a pilsner glass. Poured a pale straw with a quickly dissipating head. Noble hops in the nose with a little sulfur, also some bready malt. Decent base of malt, fairly dry. Noble hops in the finish. Very easy drinking. This is a great summer time beer. I’ve been drinking a lot at the lake this summer.

12 oz. bottle. Bottled 4/01/2009. Pours a fluffly white head, mostly lasting over a clear yellow (SRM 5-6) body.....nose of bread, slight spice.....tastes of mild malts, dry throughout, finish with slight bitterness....mouth feel is light, carbonation medium. Light nose, flavor, mouth feel, greater maltiness than hop. It seems to meet the style rather well.
