A Munich Style Helles. Golden and medium-bodied, it has a fresh noble hop character and lightly toasted malt flavor. This classic summer time lager is made for the warm, lazy days of Summer in America’s heartland.

This beer is a clear yellow color with a medium white head, and the aroma is simply that of sweet bread yeast. The taste is slightly sour and slightly sweet; also, the palate combines a light body, thin texture, average carbonation, and a long finish.

April 16, 2013 - tap at Bridge. Clear yellow pour with some head that faded quickly. Malt and grain in the aroma and taste. Crisp and refreshing, and more body than I expected.

Can->shaker. Pale yellow with small white head. Aroma and taste are of a citrus lager. Just ok.

Bottle. Light barley malt aroma. Clear medium gold with a small white head. Barley malt and hay flavor. Light body, moderately lively carbonation. No problem drinking this one on a hot summer day.

Clear yellow with white head. Musty to skunky aroma with a flavor of light malt and a hint of hops. I have enjoyed almost every Schlafly beer I have tried. This is my least favorite of the brand.

Crisp, golden coloured body with a nice two centimetre tall white head. Aroma of grass, hay and a bit of crisp malt and not much else. Light-bodied; Sharp pungent malt with a hint of sugars topped off by some metallic notes and a bit of earth. Aftertaste shows some good freshness, a bit of an airy herbal and fruity note with a lot of malt on the finish with a tiny bit of sugars. Overall, a nice and rather refreshing light summer beer that airs on herbal and light malt notes than anything else. I sampled this pint on draught at RIS in Washington with dinner on 19-August-2012 for US$6.00.

12 oz bottle pours golden with a white head. Aroma of malt, bread and spices. Taste was rather weak malt, spice and a touch of bitterness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

It is on the line of a skunky lager scent, taste is big time copper and corn. It is not complex, but a good summer/camping beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
