3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Serving: Draft. Pale yellow pour. The nose is light with a touch of grain. The flavor has a light bitterness on the back end with some cereal grain up front. Light and crisp, solid summer fare.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz bottle - pours clear yellow with quickly diminishing white head and thin lacing. Nose is hay, straw and floral. Flavor adds malt. Taste is better than the nose suggested: light sweetness and some bitterness. Smooth and easy to drink with enough character to keep it from being boring.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Drank from a can. Earthy aroma. Thick head (probably because of temp change). Crystal clear light straw color. Hint of malt up front, balanced out by grass taste. Pretty light body. Nothing great, but probably good on a float trip or after mowing the lawn in today’s 104 degree weather.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: JUL 3, 2012 Once again, Schlafly is kind of a letdown in the aroma department - here, not so much off-putting and funk, just extremely light and weak. Flavor much better - grassy and full-flavored. Drink - don’t smell so much.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a straw amber with nice malt notes. The malt gets somewhat complex as you make its way through a light but very fulfilling finish.

This is a great brew for people wanting to step up from the traditional garbage they buy at Walmart, gas stations and other dumps. Very light, but delivers a lot of flavor. Classic brew, much better than anything your average beer friends have ever tried.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Appearance: soft, clear gold with a one-finger white head and lots of frothy lace. Aroma: grains, buttered toast, mild aroma of grass and hay and citrus. Taste: cereal, hint of honey, bit of grassy hops, hint of lemon. Finish: extremely crisp, with almost mineral-like tones quickly giving way to slightly sweet crackery malts. Notes: Outstanding summer session lager. This is a really, really good summer beer. Palate is smooth, light, crisp and refreshing. Well done.
