A Munich Style Helles. Golden and medium-bodied, it has a fresh noble hop character and lightly toasted malt flavor. This classic summer time lager is made for the warm, lazy days of Summer in America’s heartland.

Appearance: soft, clear gold with a one-finger white head and lots of frothy lace. Aroma: grains, buttered toast, mild aroma of grass and hay and citrus. Taste: cereal, hint of honey, bit of grassy hops, hint of lemon. Finish: extremely crisp, with almost mineral-like tones quickly giving way to slightly sweet crackery malts. Notes: Outstanding summer session lager. This is a really, really good summer beer. Palate is smooth, light, crisp and refreshing. Well done.

Tap. Pours clear, light orange with a trace of fizzy, white head around the rim. Aroma is corn, apple’s, straw malt, and faint grassy hops. Flavor is mostly sweet malt with supporting fruit esters and faint hops; crisp finish. Light body with low carbonation and warmth.

Clear and yellow, moderate head and lace. Smell is grainy and a bit lemony, very pleasant but subtle. Taste is perfectly summer in every way. I just want to smell freshly mowed grass when I drink this beer. I don’t even need a glass, just give me the can. Monstrously drinkable, tasty and affordable too. This is one of my favorite summer beers.

Very light floral notes to this one. Pours very light and clear with a small head. Very light and crisp with the very slight sourness you expect from a lager.

12 ounce bottle, bottled on 3/16/2012. Served in a nonic pint glass, the beer pours a clear light gold color with a half inch white head. Head retention and lacing are both good. The brew smells like bready malt, grassy hops and light citrusy (lemon peel) hops. It tastes mostly like grainy/bready malt and some light grassy hops. It’s light, crisp and refreshing with good carbonation. This would be really good on a hot summer day (as opposed to a rainy, mid 40 degree day like today is here). At $8.99 a six pack, I’d buy this again. I liked it.

Bottle. Lactic barley malt and hay aroma. Pale yellow color with moderate head. Mildly sweet creamy barley malt and hay flavor. Nice body. Great malt flavor - really like this.

Tap. Pours clear light gold with a small, fizzy white head, short retention with light lacing. Aroma is grain and meal malt, light spicy hops and a clean lager character. Flavor is malt dominant with light hops and bitterness and a dry finish. Light body and warmth with medium carbonation.

Draft at Meridian Pint. Pale clear yellow, small white head, solid lacing. Aroma of white pepper and hay. Taste is plain bitter straw.

Pours pale gold like a pale lager..clear, bubbly...white ring. Scent is moderately malted, some lemon. Taste is metallic, harsh grain, hops. Finishes better than it starts. Recommend drinking at cellar temp. I’ll say not too bad...need to sample again with a warmer start.
