My neighbor gave a couple of bottles of this one to try. Hoppy, malty, citrusy and very tasty start to finish. I enjoyed this one very much and would stock it if it were available in colorado.

8 oz. glass at Bigelo’s Bistro. Pour is light clear copper golden with the fastest moving carbonation bubbles I have ever seen. A soapy off white head. Aroma and flavor is wet grass and dry malt. Flavor was grassy and peppery with that malt. A very different beer than I am used to seeing from Schlafly. Tasty!

Growler. Pours a hazed orange amber color with a pretty small head. Malty aroma with some citurs type hops in the nose. Medium mouthfeel. Taste isn’t too bad, starts with a slight sweetness along with a slight citrus rind bitterness. Ends rather flatly and falls somewaht apart.

Aroma is a massive blast of citrus hops. Refreshing. Yellow orange in color. Flavor is citrusy, fruit filled and tons of grapefruit. Excellent bitter finish. Outstanding.

Cask, Schlafly Tap House. Dark two-toned copper and Indian red with a medium sized light tan head. Aroma of apricots, peaches, sweet grapefruit, and black pepper - very fresh hop nose. Moderately bitter, slightly sweet flavor - refreshing, puckering, tasty - so many adjectives, none which really do this justice. Mellow carbonation and velvety body. Dangerously easy drinking. The highlight of my visit to Schlafly.

Cask. Medium off-white head atop lightly hazed amber body, nice lacing. Aroma is medium sweet, grapefruit/orange, some pine. Taste is medium sweet, grapefruit, some pine/lemon, light bread. Medium body, some resin, very drinkable. I like hop bombs but this does mid-level hoppiness superbly.

Growler with big thanks to Jarrett. Super fresh and hoppy aroma. Tons of pine in there. Grapefruit. Nice white pillow head. Excellent. This needs to be bottled.
