COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer was dry-hopped with more than one pound of hops per barrel, Simcoe and Amarillo, which creates a malty, drinkable, hoppy IPA that is full of flavor and easy to enjoy. The recipe was developed collaboratively with a trio of Washington D.C. beer purveyors -- Greg Jasgur, overseer of the Pizzeria Paradiso craft beer empire, Sam Fitz, beer director at Meridian Pint, and Greg Engert of Birch & Barley and ChurchKey fame.

Draft to pint. Looks Good for a session IPA; a transparent golden orange with foamy off-white head that dissipates into sticky lacing. Smells and tastes solid; dank hops with a light pale malt backbone. Nice and light on the palate. A solid session IPA.

Had at the Tap Room in St. Louis in the summer of 2011 or thereabouts. Decent beer. Didn't get good notes for this.

Hop aroma is moderately low for an IPA. Some slight pine aroma but very faint. Superb hop flavor without overpowering the palate. You would easily mistake this beer for being full strength, but at 4.5%, this beer is perfect for being on a boat, float trip, or anywhere you can't take bottles. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From tap at Blind Tiger. Pours clear and golden orange with a small off white head. Aroma is mild grapefruity and light peachy hoppy. Citrusy, peachy and light bitter. Mild sweet fruity impression.

A dryish and crisply bitter light amber ale with a big pine-and-oranges hop nose. Avoids that sticky resinous bitterness that can get in the way of drinking lots. Really refreshing and hitting the right balance. I want more.

Draft. Pours orange with a white head. Fruity citric hoppy aroma, with orange zest and light caramel malts. The flavor has fruity citric hops, lighter floral notes, and pale and light sweet malts. Awesome session IPA.

Tap. Pours clear amber with a medium, creamy off-white head, long retention with good lacing. Aroma is earthy and herbal hops, fruity esters and biscuit malt. Flavor is medium hops and bitterness with supporting malt and a dry finish. Light body and warmth and medium carbonation.

Cask. Murky orange yellow color, small white large bubble head. Aroma of freshly cut grass. Taste is grass, meadow hay. Nice stuff.

Sampled at an ESBLS tasting held at Bigelos. Clear copper with little carbonation to be seen. A small light golden head. Floral and pine aroma is light. Flavor is also light. Some citrus, some pine, some caramel, some grain. This is very light drinking and is kind of like their Pale Ale but lighter. A nice bitter flourish at the end.
