Flavor is weak. No real malts or hops are present and this is very watery. Maybe this was old? Sure not Impy like at all. Aroma is chocolate and sweet, dark-roasted malts. Falvor is tobacco, smoke, chocolate, coffee, nuttiness, and mild hop spice. Burnt malt bitterness balanced well with a sweet raisiny chocolate taste. This is excellent every year. Aroma of chocolate and dried cherries. Earthy hops emerge in the flavor. Medium bitterness and medium-low roast plus some creamy sweetness. Medium body, but fairly full flavor.
