3.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
An earthy orange color with a standing blanket of white foam. There’s little aroma, disappointingly. It’s smooth and tangy, not the usual hop fruitiness of an American IPA. Astringently planty.

Not very typical of the style, was far more balanced than any IPA I’ve had. Poured typical IPA golden bronze, with a good sized billoey head. Flavor is dominated by the Golding hops, with a few PNW style hops coming in a little more quietly. Smooth grassy finish. Mild malts.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
This rating was from the Hop In The City event where brews from the previous year were sampled (5 oz) by the attendees from kegs. This brew poured a small head of fine to large sized white bubbles that left behind a fair lacing and a hazy orange brown colored body. It has a mild malt hop aroma and a bubbly tingly mouthfeel. The flavor was much milder than a typical IPA and the hop content was very low for the style. Funny how this makes it more appealing to me though!

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cask-conditioned. Light but pleasant aroma, floral hop, some spice and citrus. Golden-amber color with a lasting, foamy head and thick lacing. Spicy, citric, piney hop flavors abound with some backing light caramel-honey sweetness. Very smooth palate.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A bit weak on the hops for me. A British style IPA that doesn’t wallop you with hops. From what i’ve heard the Il Vicino Wet Mountain IPA that Schlafly brews for a local pizza joint is much better but they ran out before i could get any.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cask: Aroma of caramel, fruit, and tea. Large soap-like bubbles with nice retention. Salty hop flavors; minty leaf-life texture and flavor. Quite a unique feel. Soft cask palate. Finishes very candyish malty. Draft: Aroma of nuts, leather, herbs, and caramel. Very English: Dry hopped with Kent Goldings. Nice rocky foam with decent stick. Amber color. Gentle carbonation and soft mouthfeel. Finishes with hints of cardboard alongside nuts and caramel. A damn fine English-style IPA that is extremely quaffable.

Draft-Growler:Held up perfectly.Spritzy, but not heavy, carbonation with a big, white, clingy, head.Clear, golden liquid.Delicate, subtle, aromas of caramel, nuts, and herbal,english-hops.Palate also spritzy, but more full than most Eng.Ipa’s(USA made) that I have had.Flavors identical the flavor.Well made. The crispness of the, herbal, hop finish is great.I am drinking a glass, right now,an hour later and it is still good.Little alcohol in the finish though.Darn good English style IPA.

A decent IPA, but it lacks the hop bite. Has about as much hop as a Three Floyds extra pale ale, but again. not a bad brew.
