Nice dark color with a thin tan head. Wonderful roasty coffee aroma. Flavor is not too bad, obviously coffee flavor, kind of mild (I was hoping it would have been a little stronger). Kind of a light body, with a good amount of carbonation. Overall, this is pretty good.

Good coffee flavor, but it doesnít overpower the essentials. The sweet chocolate taste lingers along with the coffee and just a hint of bitter and the end. Smooth and warming. A good full taste and appropriately moderated carbonation.

Woah. Very strong coffee aroma doing with something else I canít put my finger on... dark crystal malt maybe? A bit off. Good body though, and holds the coffee glamour through to the end very well. Bitter coffee flavor at the end. Almost funky. Interesting.

Nice coffee stout. Pours dark in color with a tan head. Has the aroma of coffee and a great finish.

Pours a fizzy red black with a huge tan head. Huge coffee taste, but light mouthfeel. Almost a ground coffee texture to it as well, with a lingering mocha taste. Very good, but could be slightly better balanced.

Aroma is of caramel, coffee, fresh malt. Taste is deep dark chocolate, java, cream, and dark roasted barley. Mouthfeel is thin but that puts this stout in the session beer catagory. Very yummy, even my wife likes it.

(12 oz. into imperial pint) Pours a rich black color with very little head and moderate lacing on the glass. The aroma out of the glass is immediately of the coffee roast, and chocolate malts. It actually smells just like a good cup of espresso. The flavor is exactly the same, with a slight hint of the roast with an overwhelming flavor of espresso. The finish is very smooth and refreshing. Let this one warm up a bit to fully appreciate the complexity and subtlety of all the flavors.

Coffee and not much else. A little too light in taste and palate for a stout. Aroma is good and coffee flavor is high end (Kaldis is some good coffee) I just wanted more. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz bottle pour into shaker pint. Brewed on date 12-19-08. Pours a dark, dark, dark brown. You canít see a thing through this brew! Brown head that diminishes 85%. Aroma of coffee is pretty strong at warmer temperatures. Very roasty too. A slight hop perfume comes out even higher on the thermometer. More coffee in the flavor. Slight alcohol too or maybe Iím imagining it. Roasty. Perhaps a touch of hops here too, but awfully low-key if Iím not making it up to begin with. Not much else to examine here. Bitter, coffee-like finish. It is a tad one-dimensional. Either there isnít much else in the nose or mouth, or the coffee is too overbearing. Still good stuff though!
