This collaboration with Kaldiís Coffee uses the cold toddy method of extraction for the coffee. We mix it with Oatmeal Stout for an exceptionally delicious beer.

Bottle, the beer pours black with very thin tan foam. The aroma is fresh ground coffee, reminds me of the coffee section at the grocery store. The flavor is as could be expected, coffee, roasted malts, some chocolate, and a hint of cherry even. Very nice beer.

Pours a crystalline black with light toffee head. Great coffee and roasted malt aroma. Strong and mildly bitter on the tongue with great caramels, oats and chocolate with a surfeit of coffee. More of an effervescent mouthfeel thanks expect for a stout - kind of like a porter. A winning brew. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

The beer looked great. Dark brown with an enormous tan head. Strong coffee aroma. The aroma was stronger in coffee than the flavor. But that is okay, I wasnít looking for a cup of joe when I bought the beer. Rich and creamy flavor of choclate, coffee, and malt.

Hey wonderful coffee aroma. A deep Ebony color, very clear. A nice coffee taste to a medium bodied stout. Lite bitter finish. We have a winner!

This one was just a little thin for my taste. Had a very good coffee presence, smelled great but was more like a porter. I love porters but not when Iím expecting a stout.

Dark roasted coffee and fresh dirt on the nose. Medium brown body and foamy off-white head. Bitter coffee flavor with some burnt toast or smoke in the background. Smooth and creamy mouth feel.

Veyr dark brown/ruby colored beer. Nice, thick, tan, creamy head. The tiniest orange highlights and the bottom of the glass. Very nice head retention and a decent amount of lacing left on the glass. The head settled to a nice film covering the top. A very rich and robust coffee, espresso note barrages the nose with the first whiff. A roasted or burnt barley backs up the coffee. No real sweetness to speak of, but thatís alright. Almost getting a walnut type of scent too. Again, very strong coffee, espresso flavors right off the bat with the taste. A very dry breadiness dusts the palate to give a bit of complexity. Finishes with a "whole" milk type of essence. Medium to medium/full mouthfeel. Dry and a touch rugged, but in the most complementary way. Leaves a comfortable amount on the palate. Not so much that itís distracting. I rather like this beer. Some may be turned off by the abundance of coffee flavors and aromas, but I found it most enjoyable. This reminds me of an after dinner brew. I could enjoy this with a bowl of vanilla ice cream on a cold, cold night. Probably wouldnít want to tackle this on a Summers day however. Itís worth a try and Iíll pick it up again sometime soon.

Bottle. Pours very dark brown, almost black. Has on finger of a creamy tan froth. Smells of Roasted coffee primarily, and also chocolate, and hazelnut, caramel. Wow and it actually tastes like coffee as well, a cold, malty, carbonated coffee. Wouldnít mind of these with my breakfast in the mornin.

Pours black with frothy tan head. Smells just like roasted coffee beans. Taste is smoother than expected with roasted coffee, vanilla, and has a nice creamy mouthfeel.

Bottle. Pours black with a small white head. Aroma is strong with fresh coffee. Flavor is medium with coffee beans but is balanced well. Finsh is smooth and mild. Decent coffee stout.
