Bright straw colored with a small bright white head that is mostly diminishing. Nose full of hay and lemon peel with a little biscuit. Straw and wheat flavor, moderate esters and slightly sour citrics. Moderately effervescent mouthfeel. Finish has a lot of grain and a little metal. Easy drinking, decent kolsch.

UPDATED: MAR 28, 2010 Pretty good stuff. I can tell would be refreshing on a hot day. Almost pilsner type flavor that is nice but there’s a harsh small finish on it.

Bottle my friend Matt picked up on a road trip through St. Louis. Pale straw, modest white head. Aroma of dill and tomatoes in the sun, a bit of toasty dry malt. Saltine cracker flavor with a subtle herbal hop note. Pleasantly light bodied, though a respectable level of flavor volume. Restrained but not timid. Nice little beer.

TN tasting at Maniac’s. Pours a chill hazy pale yellow with large white head. Aroma of light grain and a touch of lemon citrus. Flavor is much the same with a little cardboard. Slick body and High carbonation and a slight hop bite on the finish. Not the best, but not bad either.
