2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
TN tasting at Maniac’s. Pours a chill hazy pale yellow with large white head. Aroma of light grain and a touch of lemon citrus. Flavor is much the same with a little cardboard. Slick body and High carbonation and a slight hop bite on the finish. Not the best, but not bad either.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
I like this style for the summer. Pours an incredibly pale light yellow color with a white head. Has a lot more flavor than what this thing looks like it might deliver. Aroma of toasted grain, malt. Some straw and hay as well. Flavor is slightly light malt, bread, grain. Light bodied and refreshing.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Beer pours form the bottle a very clear yellow, nice white foamy head and a lot of carbonation. Aroma is very strong of apple cider. The flavor is really light and slightly dry finish. What flavor there is, is of pale malt and very light lemon flavor. Not much else to it. Pretty simple boring beer.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Great golden color. Little to no head with zero lacing. Nicely balanced malt\hop flavor. Mildly sweet with nice finish. This is probably my favorite American version of this style

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
This beer is light, yet well balanced and bodied as stated on the bottle itself. It has flavour and yet is not overpowering. This is probably my favourite Koelsch - arguably even better than my favourite authentic Koelsch from Koeln (Cologne, Germany) called Frueh.
Sehr gut! Ausgezeichnet! Daumen hoch!
(Very good! Excellent! Thumbs up!)

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from the Beergeek. Amber gold, nearly orange, color with a minimal white head. Aroma of mild malt and light, fruity hop. Near medium body with near creamy carbonation. Flavor is a bit caramel, which seems odd for the style, and the hop is quite light, just enough for balance, which seems right for the style. About as light and smooth as kolsch should be, just a bit too much malt.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
From the brewpub in St. Louis, this draft pour was a clear light yellow with a very small white head and almost no lacing. Nose is very mild and of ripe fruit. Medium mouthfeel. Flavor is of caramel malts and some grassy hops. Slightly bitter finish. A pretty bland beer.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours clear golden and has good bubbling. Small white head. Aroma is light and fruity like straw or raspberries. Flavor is clean fine malt. Some bitterness develops of the finish as does a very small amount of yeasty sourness.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20
There wasn’t much to this one at all. Tasted a lot like a summer beer from a macro brewery. Some citrus and maltiness, but nothing special.
