3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Has some subtle chocolate scents and pours a nice cola with a decent tan head. Has a similar taste as the scent, but the hops pierce through with a decent bitter taste.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz bottle (thanks to Brant). This was a pretty decent, roasty, oatmeal stout. A good balance of herbal hops and caramel notes as well. Pours creamy deep cream head, with a deep coffee brown body. Roasted coffee, hazy lactic sugar, caramel malts, dark toasted malt, herbal, and earth on the nose. Body has a good balance between moderate carbonation and cream. Light booze as well for a 6% abv, but very well balanced. Rich, roasted grains, coffee, caramel up front. More herbal, light sweet fruits, more of a toffee, and earth. Finishes quite bitter. An enjoyable stout overall.

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Poured brown into a snifter. Almost black in the glass, tan 1/2 inch head.
Roasted barley, burnt malt
Burnt malt and bitterness dominate. One dimensional. Good, but lacking complexity and balance. The hops have taken this stout hostage.
Soft and smooth. Moderate carbonation, light to medium body.
Drinkable, but Iím unlikely to get more of this.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
POurs jet black with a one finger head. Notes of cocoa drive into a very dry but malt grain laden stout. Dry and long on the finish.
