12 oz bottle. Pours amber with long lasting, foamy white head and lively carbonation. Aroma is of Noble hops and nutty, caramel malt. Body is medium and smooth. Taste is sour, salty, caramel and herbal hops. Finish is long and salty. It seams to me they were trying to brew Gose but put in too much caramel malt.

Draft->shaker. Light amber with small offwhite head. Malt, bread, cereal, rye. OK.

Draft to taster. Looks good for the style; a transparent golden orange with foamy off-white head that slowly dissipates into lacing. Smells malty with a lager yeast backbone. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. Okay.

Had at the Tap Room in St. Louis in the summer of 2011. Decent beer but nothing to write home about.

Pours cloudy brown-amber with a tight tan head. Aroma is bread, malt. Flavour is caramel, bread, a hint of citrus and mild spice. Almost a rye-ness to it..... Pretty good, even though the bottle was a little old.

A good oktoberfest, good sweet/malty beer. Difficult to enjoy 4+ drinks but still good nonetheless.

THOUGHTS: I thought it smelled very nice at first, but maybe interesting was a better word. A little more citrusy than most oktoberfests. A rare beer because I loved the aroma, but sort of disliked the flavor. TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a medium, brownish orage with an average, off-white head that kept a decent sheet. The aroma was heavy bread, cookie, caramel, graham cracker, toast, pie crust and cake; moderate grassy hops; light citrus hops; and something slightly like Cap’n Crunch. The initial flavor was moderately sweet and lightly bitter; while the finish was heavily sweet, heavily bitter and slightly sour with an average duration. There was caramel, maple syrup, grassy hops, lighter citrus hops, floral hops, dark breads, cookie, and cake. The light to medium body was a little syrupy with fizzy carbonation and a metallic finish.

Pours a copper color with small light tan head. Smell is earthy hops and malt. Taste is grassy hops with a malt undertone and a slight citrus taste. Medium bitterness that sticks to the tongue. Medium body with a slightly oily mouthfeel with some carbonation. Was able to finish but not a fan. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Most likely was oxidized, but overall still tasty. Good pumpkin taste without an overwhelming spice character. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: SEP 1, 2013 Once this beer is poured, the color reveals itself as a nice orange with a medium white head, and the aroma’s mixture of dough yeast and caramel malts isn’t phenomenal but is still quite pleasant for an Oktoberfest. When you sip, the semi-complex flavor (a mixture of mild sourness, slight sweetness, and a touch of umami) hits you strongly; furthermore, the medium body, soft carbonation, slick texture, and its malty yet sour finish coat your mouth and prolong the fairly enjoyable taste of the brew.
