4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
This beer rocks! Sparkling clear, copper/amber lager with a small, creamy, white head. Poor retention, but leaves thick, creamy lacing with lots of holes... like swiss cheese. Caramel and milk chocolate in the nose. Very malty flavor. Sweet, but almost balanced-out by a very light hop bite. Medium-bodied with an astringent mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Lengthy, bitter-sweet finish. Great, world class Oktoberfest!

On tap: Pours a clear copper bronze with a small creamy froth of offwhite head. Has a sweet toasty caramel malty nose with a light noble hoppy presence. Starts with good body and authentic malty sweetness with a noble hoppy balance before a smooth lightly sweet finish. A true to style and very drinkable festbier.
