Sep 19, 2008 A good dinner beer. Goes well with most bar food and is just the right smoothness. A semi-bitter finish. I really enjoy schlafly’s beers, seems they don’t cut a lot of corners when they make them.

Sep 17, 2008 Bottle at Jakes Steaks in St. Louis. Pours as amber color with a small off white head. Aroma of malt and corn. STaste is sweet of malt and no hops at all. Mild and easy to drink but certainly nothing special.

Sep 16, 2008 Another unassuming pale ale. I need to find some exceptional ones here soon or else I’m going to get bored. Pours a clear yellow orange color. Well carbonated and fruity flavor. Also tasting some toasted grain. Hop profile is grassy with a slight citrus aftertaste. Aroma is rather interesting with some green apple and floral notes.

Sep 2, 2008 Bottle. Poured into a shaker. Poured a clear amber color with a medium white head. Aroma was sweet malt and maybe some fruit. Flavor was malty with little to no hop notes. Wish this had a little more hoppiness.
