This is a great American Pale Ale, brewed by the St. Louis Brewery (brewhouse beer brewed in St. Louis, and bottled beer brewed in Minnesota). Very nice hoppy flavor, but not overwhelmingly bitter. I’m quite partial to hoppy beers, and while this beer is definitely not as hoppy as say the Three Floyds’ Alpha King or something of the like, I still really like its cleaner finish. This is a somewhat lighter beer that can be enjoyed on hot days without feeling too heavy.

A solid beer. Pours to a nice head, little lacing, and light orange color. Very mild hop with some malt and bread.Taste quite mild. Light-bodied. Easy to drink. Nothing bad.

Bottle. Just enough hop without being over the top. Wonderful balance. Great amber color. Classic pale ale worth keeping in the fridge at all times. Goes great with some provel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

THE St. Louis standby!!! When in St. Louis avoid AB Bud brands at all cost, go for the Pale Ale!

Session-able. This is an easy drinking beer. It’s meant to appeal to a wide base of people. I had it on drought at Schalfly’s brew pub in St.Louis, which is a fantastic beer joint. This beer has a subtle malty character with pleasant mild hop finish. This is a good mild ale. I feel that others have rated this beer harshly just because it is a mild easy drinking beer.

In my opinion, a classic pale ale. Nicely balanced with mild citrus notes, followed by a bready finish. Hops don't overwhelm (a good thing) like in many other APA's. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: FEB 1, 2004 Clear light copper color, decent white foamy head, light caremel aroma. Light body and mouthfeel, balanced malt and mild hop flavors. This is an english style pale ale, very mild and average, not bad for the style.
