On tap, poured nice, light orange. Decent lace that stuck around the whole time. Aroma: Light pine, light malt. Taste: Nice balance of hops & malt. Can detect both, without being overwhelming. Also detect a hint of light fruit, apple or pear? Finishes very clean. This is a nice gateway beer for the BMC group.

On draft at brewery. Pale copper with thin head. Mostly malt and sweet fruit on the nose with some good coming through on the palate. Very mellow, sessionable pale.

Draft to taster at Schlafly Bottleworks. Looks solid; a completely transparent pale burnt orange with foamy eggshell head. Smells malty with notes of biscuit up front and a touch of hops in the background. Tastes like it smells, but slightly hoppier, with some ale yeast as well. Mouthfeel is medium-light to medium-bodied. Decent, but unmemorable.

Amber pour, white head. Aroma is sweet, beerish. Flavor is mild, grass, straw, yeast, grain. What I expected.

Not a huge fan. Lightly floral, earthy and nutty. Finishes lightly bitter, somewhat boring...

Had at Wash U reunion. Out of bottle, so couldn't see or smell. Decent beer for sunny, warm day - not overly hoppy or complex, but much better than the Bud alternatives all around St. Louis. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

16oz draft 12/9/15 (TGI Fridayís St. Louis)-Pours copper with a small head. Aroma of malt and hops. Taste of the same. This light to medium bodied brew is an all right brew.

Fairly inert. No real aroma, pours typical, pretty unremarkable. Medium effervescent mouthfeel , very bitter, but blank palate... No fruit... Nothing , just bitter and wet. Would I drink it in a pinch? Sure... Would I choose it iver bud light? Probably not.

Tastes OK, not much aroma, and very bland taste. Carbonation is OK but not much body

Pours a copper, or maybe honey color. About one finger slightly beige head, without a very aggressive pour. A little residual head, some lacing but not much. A little cloudy, and maybe some sediment in there, or maybe itís tiny bubbles, I canít quite tell.

Aroma is pretty light, not much to it. I smell light honey. Light lemon zest. Lightly bready. Light roasted malts. Everything about the aroma is light.

Taste is quite malty, itís pretty well balanced between sweet and bitter. Bready malts are dominate in the taste, although not heavy.

Mouthfeel is medium body despite everything else is so light. Itís barely dry. This is a very sessionable beer.

Overall, itís pretty good. It wonít blow you away, but itís decent enough to make you want another. But yes, I would buy this again, and yes, I would recommend this as a good English Pale Ale.
