Nice amber body with a fairly thick tan head. Light, sweet aroma with caramel and malt evident. Smooth, creamy mouthfeel. Overall sweet flavor with caramel up front and only a hint of hoppy bitterness at the end. Decent beer that lacks some balance and bitterness.

bottle. Deep golden with one finger head. Mild malt body and medium hops. Rather by the book pale ale. Average.

Schlafly Pale Ale: get it ice cold and enjoy. A great beer from a great Missouri family brewer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Deep, dark golden color worth a decent head. Aroma was a watery citrus smell. Taste was like hay with water downed grapefruit.

Bottle. Pours hazy golden, thin white head. Mild bready aroma, hop resin. Mild sweet taste. Medium body, dry mild bitter finish. Just kinda of an ’eh’ pale ale. Not much going on from a flavor perspective.

Pours a deep gold with a slight white head. Little lemon citrus on the nose. Good carbonation but not a whole lot in terms of flavor depth.

Relative brought this over and it perplexed us. Being used to American Pale Ales, we weren't big fans. After realizing this is a British style Pale Ale, I don't hate it and think its a well made beer. It also made me realize even more that I dislike British(and British style) beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle: Poured a light amber color ale with a medium size foamy head with light retention and not much lacing. Aroma of unrefined grainy notes with stale hops is not very pleasant. Taste is also dominated by unrefined grainy notes and stale hops. Body is light with good carbonation. Not sure what happened here but it ended in the drain.

I give this one high marks because it was a perfectly cooled, very fresh tasting at the Schlafly Bottleworks in St. Louis. For a plain-jane beer it was well crafted.

Bottle. Pours clear copper with no head. The aroma is flat wit hsome grainy notes. The taste is nutty, sweet, and really bland. Not good and not being too detailed.
