3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
straightforward ale, not too hoppy. pours a copper color with a quickly dissipating white head. thin on the palate even for a pale ale. didn’t care much for the aftertaste... not a bad beer, good for a hot day.

On tap at Devote Iowa City. Sparkling orange with a tiny white head. Aroma of clean rich malt and a hint if hop spice. Flavours of rich malt, but extremely smooth. Medium body that is extremely refreshing. Finish is slightly sweet.

2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours a light amber with a thick white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is all skunk. Taste is high on carbonation and low on good taste. Once again, I’ve found another Schlafly beer I don’t like. Taste is heavy on that english barley and malt. Not good.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
12 oz bottle poured into a stemmed Belgian tulip glass. The aroma is buttered toast and caramel candy. It pours a slightly hazy oily orange with a soapy white head that reduces to a medium thick ring with a decent splotch of a head island left on the surface and leaves very little lace. The taste is a medium sweet and medium light bitter. The oily texture comes with a light, fuzzy carbonation and a medium body. The finish is orange, buttered toast, caramel candy, and some resin and or wood chips. It’s mostly clean aftertaste keeps some lemon zest, orange zest, caramel, and grass.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz bottle from backlog notes. Pours a clear amber color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have pale malts, toasted, some cookie malt character, earthy hops, a hint of caramel, pretty average pale ale, but I can see why this would be a go to beer in St. Louis.
