Not really my favorite beer. Has a bit of a funky taste that is a little off putting.

On tap @ Pi Pizzeria. Clear orange colored beer with a tall white head. Aroma is big on pale malt, bread, and toast. Some caramel, a light orange hop aroma, flowers, and grass. Subtle pine. Flavor is malt forward and sweet. Lots of caramel, toast, and biscuit. Good floral hops, some orange peel, and mild bitterness. A bit of an estery quality on the finish. Mildly grassy.

Pint at Bottleworks. Clear and coppery with an off white head that leaves some lacing. This is nicely hopped with European hops. Some spiciness. Also floral and fruit. The hop notes ste mot huge but sre nicely complex. Malts are well balanced. Some biscuits. This is well hopped for the style and I approve.

Location/Date:Draft on 6/20/2013 at District of Pi.

Appearance: Pours a caramel reddish orange.
Aroma: Aroma of light toffee.
Taste: Light bitter, light toffee malt.
Palate:Light body.

Summary: Of course when I’m out at lunch and am told to order a beer, I find the rarest one I can find as I’m the 19th rater of this on RB. A very solid beer, not too aggressive to any one direction.

Poured a copper color with a white head. Aroma is malty with some dry hops. Taste is not as much like a common as I expected, but good malty flavors. Some nice dry hops in the finish make it crispy. Good.
