Pours a clear light golden with a frothy white head and light lace. Taste shows light caramel malt and fresh earthy hay. The finish shows a bittersweet hop flavor, which works well in this brew. It is actually quite a good pilsner, easy to drink and very well-balanced. Worth a look.

From a bunch of old notes I found. Nice and mellow. Light pine and citrus hops. Very easy drinking. I could gladly drink this beer every day, every season. Light enough for summer but thick enough for the cold winter nights. Would be a great intro to craft for a BMC drinker.

12oz. Bottle: Got in trade from Phaleslu; THANKS Peter! Aroma of Pils malts, Noble hops, grain, corn, body odor, and dust. Poured yellow/gold in color with a medium-sized, rocky, creamy, white head that greatly diminished but lasted throughout. Cloudy. Sparkling. Full of small and tiny-sized particles throughout. Flavor is lightly sweet, and medium bitter. Tastes of malt, corn, Noble hops, and light caramel. Light to medium body. Slick, oily, then dry texture. Average carbonation. Malt, Noble hop, corn, and caramel finish is dry.

The aroma is very grassy. The flavor is again grassy as well as grainy, which lends strongly to a beery, lingeringly bitter finish. Not a grand slam flavor blast but cleans up pretty well.

It poured a pale color with a white head. The aroma was of moderate sour citrus hops. The flavor was sweet with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. This was on the house due to an extra pour someone didn’t want. Thanks to our waiter.

bottle - murky blond with white head and trace lacing. Nose is wheat and yeast. Aroma is hop-hoppidy hop in that enjoyable way. Bitter taste. Light to medium body with thin texture. Slightly burp-y. I could see this paired with German or Asian food. If the day comes that I’m in the mood for a lighter beer and this one is available, odds are I’d choose this one.

This is one of my all time favorite pilsners, and a regular staple beer for me. The great grassy and hoppy aromas combine with a great crisp hops taste to make this beer a real treat. The body is amazing for the style, so thick and rich, smooth and easy to drink. This is definitely on my list of highly recommended beers, one of the best I’ve had in this style.

Bottle- Pours a clear golden color with a decent head that fades slowly and nice lacing. Aroma of fresh grain and some citrus mixed in. Flavor of fresh grain, some bitterness and clean finish. Light body, crisp and refreshing. Nice pilsner, not bad for the style. Worth a try.
