2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pleasing fresh-beer aroma on uncapping which dissipates quickly. Light-bodied pour with a modest head. Very pale and surprisingly cloudy for a Pilsner; in appearance, more like a pale unfiltered wheat beer. Taste was pleasantly dry and crisp with just a hint of bitterness. Unfortunately, that bitterness lingered on the palette a bit too long, resulting in a bitter overall impression. If the bitterness could be brought into balance, this would be an excellent Pilsner.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
My Bottom Line:
A whisper of lemon and herbs tickles this Pilsenerís hay-like malts for a easygoing example of the style.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A creamy head of foam covers the clear straw.
-The flavor profile is a tad tired. The hops lack a soothing bite and the malts lack crispness.
-Some hop spiciness develops bitterness in the finish.
-I need to try a fresher bottle than the one we just got here through private imports.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Serving: 12 oz. bottle from State Line Liquors. It pours a nice gold color with a small white head. The nose is rather muted with a little bit of musty grain. The flavor has a slight malt sweetness with a touch of grain and a nondescript bitterness on the back end. It lacks crispness and bitterness. It just seems like a clumsy attempt. Much better examples are available on the shelf.

12oz bottle from Party Source. Shared with b3shine. Bottled with love on 12/28/2012. Mostly clear golden yellow color. Thin white head. Good lace. Smooth, crisp lighter carbonation, more dry in the finish. Nice balance of bready pilsner malts and crisp light bitter hops. Satisfyingly hoppy, a bit more on the hoppy side than your typical pils, which I like. Nice mild bitter taste. Good pilsner, even at 5 months old. Another solid brew schlafly.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle to taster (thanks DrSilverworm). Looks solid; a transparent gold with white lacing. Smells doughy, lightly hoppy, and pleasantly skunky. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel (could use more of a pilsner snap). An easy-drinking tick.

3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
The aroma is subtly like sweet bread yeast with it becoming progressively more sour as it sits in the glass, and the appearance is more complex than your normal beer with a pale yellow color due to the medium white head, the bubbliness, and the slightly hazy quality. The taste is mildly sour and a touch sweet, and the palate combines a medium body, average carbonation, abrupt finish, and a slick texture.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Draft at Baileys Range. Pours clear yellow with a thin white head. Kind of grainy on the nose. A little malty on the tongue. No real hop flavor to speak of. Itís better than Bud but not particularly compelling.

Tap @ Schlafly St. Louis. Pours a clear yellow appearance with an off white head. Sweet pils malty, floral, straw aroma. Fairly sweet, husky pils malty, herbal flavor. A little sweet but tasty.
