| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Sep 13, 2007 Thank to hopdog for sharing this one. Pour a translucent golden amber with a smaller bubbly off white head that went away quickly. Aroma of pumpkin pie spices, some alcohol, getting the nutmeg, clove and cinnamon with some brown sugar and pumpkin. Flavors of the same...a little more towards the pumpkin pie side of things in the flavor. Alcohol hidden with some of the more sweet malts. A little bit of alcohol bite in the end. I had this side by side with the Southern Tier Pumking and while both are good...the Southern Tier was more up my alley. Dogbrick (2925), Columbus, Ohio, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 1, 2008 Bottle: Orange hued amber, fairly clear, moderate to thin sudsy off-white head, dies quickly, spotty lacing, very little carbonation.
Nutmeg, all-spice, and pumpkin pie filling on the nose.   The tongue yields some clove, nutmeg, cinnamon (minor), pumpkin (minor),
and cereal like malts.   Very slight heat to this one.   8% ey?   Could use a little bit more malt, but not bad.   Body and
mouthfeel are moderate.   Heavier malts would certainly help.   Finish is a little lackluster.   Flavor drops off pretty quick
from the start.   However, tiz fairly clean.   Slight cereal like malts after the finish.   Loved the nose, but could use a
little work on the tongue.   Otherwise for a non Imperial Pumpkin, its quite good.   Thanks Matt for sending me a few of
these!
