A full-bodied, deep reddish amber beer made with pumpkin and butternut squash and spiced with nutmeg, clove and cinnamon. Celebrate the bounty of harvest with this rich, malty ale and invoke the season of plenty.

By far the best pumpkin beer....possibly in the world? Had in aged bottles and on tap at Schlafly. Amazing appearance, aroma is an explosion of the Fall, and the taste is incredible to say the least. DO NOT COMPARE TO PUMKING (Southern Tier). That's like comparing a Sam Adams to a Budweiser. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

since everyone has already mentioned the cinnamon, nutmeg, spice taste and roma or the copper colored pour. I thought i would just stay away from the obvious despcriptions and mention how amazed and pleased i was when i opened this bottle. I first had this beer a few weeks ago and my liqour store sold out of it, i finally got ahold of it last night. Just the thought of this beer had my brain struggling to focus on everyday routine and instead imagining that beer touching my tongue. The time came i was able to pour the beautiful copper beer into my tulip style glass the aroma filled my house, I took a sip and the taste was exactly what ive been wating for. This is without any argument the best pumpkin ale ive ever put my hands on and cant wait for my next schlafly pumkin ale

I LOVE this beer! Buy cases every season! Other may disagree, saying that it's too sweet, but I believe they have the recipe just right on this one! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hey pumpkin ale that actually tastes like pumpkin? This is the best representation of the style that Iíve ever had. The aroma is of pumpkin butter, with cinnamon and nutmeg notes. The flavor is of pumpkin and fall spices with a very which mouth feel.

This is my favorite fall seasonal beer and favorite pumpkin beer. Itís the tastes are balanced with hints of whip cream and squash. The pumpkin flavor is strong with this one. It tastes like a pumpkin pie. Definitely one of their best beers.

i think the recipe for this beer is simple. Cinnamon, pumpkin, yeast and water. It is the sweetest tasting ale i have ever had. If i had smelled it at room temperature i would have sworn i was sniffing the inside of my grandmother’s over after cooking a pumpkin pie. it tastes like a big piece of cinnamon with a little pumpkin on it. If i were a dog, i would roll all in this stuff and check it regularly to urinate and mark it as mine forever, after drinking everything in the bottle of course.

This brew appears in the local supermarkets (Schnucks, and Dierbergs) around the last week in August. They run out in early November, if they can stay on the shelves that long. Iíve mailed this brew to friends across the country; it is a hit all around. If you like pumpkin pie, then youíll enjoy this, as it has almost the same sweet taste. Get ready to taste the best pumkin beer ever!

Bottle. Pours a translucent amber color with a quickly disappearing white head. Aroma is pumpkin pie spices, nutmeg, cinnamon. Taste is pumpkin pie, nutmeg, cinnamon, sweet. Medium body, I guess? Very easy to drink and not heavy or cloying at all. Soft carbonation, donít expect much liveliness on this one. Best pumpkin beer on the market as far as Iím concerned. Havenít had one better yet.
