COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Schlafly Quadrupel is, as its name implies, a serious beer. But don’t be intimidated. This fourth beer in our bottle-conditioned Belgian-style beer series has a rich, malty backbone that is generously balanced by select, fresh hops to create a luscious, smooth character. Sharing it with friends enhances the enjoyment, whether in front in front of a roaring fire or at the finest dinner party. Quadrupel will be available year-round, but in limited quantities, with the initial batch being 150 cases.

750 ml bottle shared by Tmoney99. Pours a clear dark amber color with a medium tan head. The aroma started with a heavy dose of fruit (light citrus, berries, pear) with a candy like sweetness. The flavor is fruity, caramel malts, sweet, some yeast shows through with some alcohol coming forward at times. Medium bodied; mainly smooth being interrrupted by the alcohol at times. This is good, but not near the best in this category.

750 ml bottle. Amber red pour with barely any head. Aroma of esters and husk. Some dried fruit. Flavor is fruity with a light alcohol burn. Some husky notes. Pretty sweet. Mouthfeel is medium. Finishes fruity and flabby. Ugh, so sweet. Yeah, Schlafly isn’t really impressing me.

Bottle courtesy of thirdeye11. Pours amber/red with a small off-white head. The aroma is caramel malt with some yeast, dark fruits and a little tartness. The flavor is more of the same with some alcohol, heavy malts, dark fruits and the same tart fruit that I got in the aroma. Medium mouthfeel. Very solid American-made quadrupel.
